6-10 months is what they are saying for Boogie.

After the Parsons debacle in Dallas and Memphis and Midget Isiah still being stir fried dogshit, what do you see as a market for this guy and after all the shit with Holiday, do you think the Pelicans will risk giving him a large deal while he's injured?

I don't think the Pelicans really have much of a choice. I'd max him. It worth it because he and AD were beginning to form something special. You take a shot at it, even if there's a chance Boogie might not ever be the same. As for other teams, I'd still max him if I'm a team that needs a star (ie Dallas or the Lakers). Too good of a talent to pass up, even if he's hurt. But if I'm a team that wants to contend next year and was thinking about making a move for him which required moving salary and players, I'd be very hesitant to go after him. I'd explore other options first. TLDR, bad teams can eat the money if he never recovers; good teams shouldn't risk whatever they have going right now.

Heyward is going to play in the postseason.....and the Celtics just might have enough to beat the W's in the Finals.

I would love to see a Boston/Warriors finals especially if Hayward comes back.

Feel like they can challenge Golden State much more than Cleveland because of how they play defense

I don't think either can take more than a game from GS.

The NBA Finals will be held a couple weeks earlier than normal this year.

Boston take 2 if they're healthy

Boston matches up well vs Golden State... it has been pretty coin-flippy between the two the past few seasons.

Boston does not match up near as well versus Cleveland...

... I might almost claim that it would be easier for Boston to win a playoff series against the Warriors... the only thing that stops me is how vulnerable the Cavs have looked of late.

So I'll just say this: Boston should be the underdog in either series, but they have a very realistic shot against either... that's something you couldn't really say in the past.

That is crazy talk.

Boston has no chance against GS with or without Heyward. They can definitely beat Cleveland and may even be the favorite there.

You may not agree... but I don't think I'm crazy.

GS and Boston have matched up very tight in head-to-heads the past few seasons.

I know there are variables... Boston has had huge roster changes, the regular season is not the post season... but if anything, this is a superior Boston product and the potential return of Heyward really gives an added boost to the C's equation.

I stand by what I said.

Not sure about that. Right now I don't think there's a team in the league that can beat the Warriors in a 7 game series. They are just better than everyone else.

I did say Boston should be underdogs in such a series... :noidea:... are we really disagreeing much here?

You also said they would have a very realistic chance against the Warriors. I don't think their chances would be all that good.

Cleveland's disfunction being at an all-time high is making me starting to believe.

Yeah, still hard to believe that any team in the East can beat Lebron 4/7, but the Cavs issues seem worse this year. Usually it's just a slump and Lebron sending out cryptic tweets.

This year, other players seem to be speaking up/complaining.
