It's the opposite end of the spectrum from the Shaq no calls.

Shaq got hacked without calls because he's big and strong and it's like a mosquito hitting a elephant.

Curry gets hit, doesn't get the call because he's a cute little jump shooter.

Difference is, Shaq could take the beating.

Curry.... For how long?

Plus, I think @tlance already mentioned this.

It was probably more about the bullshit calls against him in the first half.

2 of those calls were suspect.

A mosquito hitting an elephant.:laugh3: Can't disagree w/ that. As far as how long for Curry? Wish I knew the answer. Although like I previously said having not seen the Warriors yet I can't give a legit opinion right now. I can see how Steph would be frustrated over multiple calls on him though. I think any superstar would.

6th or 7th seed....imo

....maybe 5th.

Top 4 seems like a long shot.

Kyrie thought about putting the Celtics on his back while Hayward's out but then realized he didn't wanna put the effort in. Fuckin' slacker!

Darnold didn't feed into anything that I've ever seen. Last year he had a more experienced o-line and a couple of go to wide receivers.

I was concerned about our o and d lines before the season started and they were hit by a ton of injuries. O-line hasn't been able to establish the run (or pass block) and the d-line hasn't been able to stop the run.

He also hasn't been able to establish a rapport with any receivers other than Burnett.

The only reason we had only lost one game was that the early schedule was pretty pedestrian. The Domers exposed every concern that I had about our o and d lines.

I'll concede on the Darnold thing. I've just noticed that his interceptions are up this year compared to last. But you know more about USC football than I do; so that's a pretty legit reason.

That is the number 1 pick?

I am telling you guys. If he is hurt, he gets a pass, but he needs to sit down. If he isn't hurt, he is going to be a bust. That is awful.

If the draft were today, based on what we have seen from all the rookies, I bet Fultz would not be top 10. Might fall out of the lottery all together.
It's only a few games and he could turn it around, but the odds of him ending up as the best player from this class don't look good.

Lmfao...no.

That's like saying we should punish Jay walkers the same as rapist.

The context shouldn't matter, they are both breaking the law.
Not really - that's why there are different punishments for law breakers. I always think the punishment should fit the crime.

However, in the basketball example we're talking about, the consequence for both behaviors is a technical foul. So, If the consequence is the same for both actions, then I'm not sure why we're considering one action to be worse than the other. My bottom line is both actions were punishable, yet they're not always carried out that way.

To add to your point about the no-calls on Steph, I think a lot of the fouls are overlooked because he makes a lot of those shots despite being fouled. And, a lot of the refs are busy watching the ball go in the hoop rather than concentrating on the play its self.

The weird thing though was KD being tossed. I was watching the game & didn't see much from him that should've warranted being kicked out. Maybe frustration on all ends by that point.

I have to disagree.

Believe me, I was on the wagon about Kyrie not being a leader, yada, yada, yada. But, since leaving it looks like he's playing with a sense of relief. He's even taking on more of a PG forum in regards to passing more & trying to get his team involved. Have to give him credit for that in the wake of that horrendous Hayward accident.

Oh I'm sure of it. He also felt Steph was fouled - he said so when asked about it after the game. But either it must have been something really bad or tempers were already flared at that point (refs).

Hanging on the rim and cursing out, showing up officials are not the same thing.

What Dray does is more in line with Cousins.

Boogie gets T'd.
Boogie hasn't gotten a lot of love from the refs in his career, but he doesn't help himself by getting angry all the time. He needs to talk to refs calmly during breaks in the action instead of yelling at them when he doesn't get a call. As talented as he is, I'm happy with the Kings moving on from that. Draymond is helped by the fact that he's on a really good team, if he was stuck in hell for 6 years I could see him easily getting suspended for too many T's.

I actually think it will get better for you guys. I also think Ainge will try to bring in some help - especially if they're under the impression Hayward won't come back this season (although I think he could be back for the post season).

Well @ times the refs were just awful last year. I can see how players could get pissed about the calls.

I couldn't even begin to think who Ainge could go after.

It would have to be a trade IMO. Ainge has assets so I think he can make something happen. I think the hope should be for someone to help defend, honestly. And if they can get a guy who can defend well AND give you some points here & there that would be winning.

@Mecca mentioned Okafor which would be a really good pick up. I can't remember the other guy she mentioned.

I think he saw Steph leaving, knew the game was over and was jelaous. He didn't want Steph to get the best shower stall. So, he politely asked the official if he could be ejected too.
