Draymond has a awfully long leash.

He is very demonstrative and the refs just swallow their whistles.
Honestly, I think it's one of those things that he's very passionate. I don't think every time he's talking to them he's degrading or saying things he shouldn't. Now, I'm sure there are times that he is too...

Superstars shouldn't be acting like HS kids. He's better than that. Yet this is now the 2nd time he's done this.
No argument it's bad sportsmanship. But, $hit happens when a player is passionate. LBJ gets special treatment so why shouldn't Steph? Besides, none of the other superstars are perfect so why should Steph have to be?

So what are realistic expectations for the Celtics w/o Hayward? And Lakers fans, I don't wanna hear your suggestions.:heh: Kyrie sees himself as a franchise player. Okay prove it, this is his opportunity while Hayward is out. I still don't care for him though. But if he can help the franchise get to the ultimate goal I'll overlook the fact he's a jackass.

Don't all superstars get a form of special treatment from the refs though? Steph lost his cool again, and I understand he's a competitor. Hopefully it doesn't happen again. It just makes him look bad.

He should have been T'd up multiple times against the Rockets.

The refs just swallow their whistles.

No they don't all get special treatment on the same level. Think about this for a second. Steph is a jump shooter - probably is in the top 3 of players that takes the most jumpers - yet rarely gets the whistle when he does go up for a jumper. The majority of his and one's come from him playing around the rim.

Now, with everyone's concern about defenses allowing jump shooters to have space to come down after releasing their shot, are you willing to bet that just about all defenders on Steph's jump shot don't foul him? Especially when we also consider his quick release? Like Steph, I think most people would be frustrated after being fouled so much & not rewarded with the and one.

Agree.

But, this isn't his first offense.

Didn't he hit a owners kid last time?

Steph gonna sit a game.

But, he will likely never do that again.

As far as passion goes, Boogie is passionate.

He gets T'd up often for doing the things Dray does.

And so should LBJ. He dunks and hangs on the rim a lot & doesn't get called for T's either. So I don't think it's just Dray.

Hanging on the rim and cursing out, showing up officials are not the same thing.

What Dray does is more in line with Cousins.

Boogie gets T'd.

Just to stir shit up I'll go the other route & say Steph doesn't deserve calls because he never gets fouled. Although in my own defense I have yet to see a Warriors game. Gimme some time though, I'll eventually see them play. Maybe.:heh:

Boogie is a good example, and they both are usually in the top tier of leading players with T's by the end of the season. So, it evens out. Also, I think the difference between the two is Dray will actually try to talk to a ref - whereas Boogie just goes the hell off. It doesn't appear he's established any type of communication.

The context of the behavior shouldn't matter - both are breaking the rules and shouldn't be allowed. So, we can't complain when one is allowed & the other isn't.

Side note: The first time it hit the Cavs owner - so maybe we should be saying GOOD SHOT???

And for all those with no sense of humor, I kid, I kid. :heh:

No it wasn't. But I also feel like arguing right now. Wanna disagree about something?

It's the opposite end of the spectrum from the Shaq no calls.

Shaq got hacked without calls because he's big and strong and it's like a mosquito hitting a elephant.

Curry gets hit, doesn't get the call because he's a cute little jump shooter.

Difference is, Shaq could take the beating.

Curry.... For how long?

Plus, I think @tlance already mentioned this.

It was probably more about the bullshit calls against him in the first half.

2 of those calls were suspect.

Lmfao...no.

That's like saying we should punish Jay walkers the same as rapist.

The context shouldn't matter, they are both breaking the law.

True, I concede on Boogie.

But, not on LeBron.

6th or 7th seed....imo

....maybe 5th.

Top 4 seems like a long shot.
