I always watch live sports and anything else can wait on demand. Nothing worse than trying to watch a replay of a game and then finding out the final score on facebook or twitter.

I think it's the severity of the losses. If they were 0-3 but only lost by an average of 5-10 points, Earl would still be coaching the team.
