What are your thoughts on Irving, James, and the Cavs?

I am certainly no cavs fan but I recognize that lebron has achieved a level that only one other player in history has....even though apart from one amazing choke job by GS it wasn't good enough to win the finals.

Irving is insane but he's a good player lol. Maybe he makes the celts competitive against the cavs in the playoffs but I do know some celtics fans who are getting pretty far ahead of themselves. Nobody in the east is winning any championships anytime soon unless GS lets them.

I so want PG and James to come to the Lakers next season.....James if I had to pick 1.

The only knock against the Pistons for me is Stanley Johnson.

He might be a bust.

But, it's still early.

Yea, I'm not ready to say bust yet. He does some good things defensively, but is definitely the 5th option out there on offense with Jackson, Drummond, Harris, and Bradley (but someone on the team has to be). I think his minutes will decrease, and maybe even his starting role, when Leuer gets back in uniform. He's still only 21, so I'm not yet giving up on him.

And Indy's GM deserves props. They got rid of a disgruntled player and have rebuilt their team on the fly.

They very easily may end up winning that trade. They have so far but it all depends if OKC can keep PG. And the Thunder figure things out.

Yeah Klay could never be the guy on a really good team. But he can kinda be a Jimmy Butler type where he gets his team in the east to the playoffs if the supporting cast is competent.
