Looks like the 49ers are going to have alot of salary cap space next year

Yeah get ready to have a lot of money to do whatever we want. If we cut or trade Kap that will give us more money. If we draft well this year, add 1-2 good players and hire the right staff we can be right there again. Just need to rebuild right.

obviously good to have cap space, but we still should spend it wisely. this means we should be wary of the highest FA's out there. Everything looks great once signed, but you almost always overspend a few years down the road.

Yep, you don't build a team through free agency. Cant do that with the cap

I agree we have to be smart. I do think we need a #1 type CB(6-8 mill) so I think that would be smart to grab one in FA's and then maybe a Guard(4-5 mill). Draft a MLB, OLB and QB in the draft.
