You have heard Cavs rumblings on Stephensen too for months.....

id stay away....

it cracks me up all these warriors fans- Stephen Jackson maybe coming!!! Larry SAnders is maybe coming!!! Lance Stephensen is maybe coming!!!

all these short cuts to talented guys that are not on teams or have gone through tough times for a reason. Golden State didnt lose to the Cavs because there was a talent disparity--- they lose because no one could touch LeBron and they didnt have the right mental and physical toughness to punch back....

larry sanders, lance stephensen, whatever other talented asshole might be out there- JaVale Mcgee----- sure...sign em all.....just not winning players.

Why do you keep mentioning physical and mental toughness it wasnt even that, cavs were just better thats all from a talent standpoint

I'm just busting your chops.

Of all the recent names that were mentioned, the only one that has been slightly intriguing to me is Larry Sanders. But he also comes with the biggest risk. He walked away from the game on his own because he didn't love the game. That's a huge red flag for me.

Lance is not a good fit. Javale and S. Jackson are washed up. Don't want any of those guys.

I'd much rather look for a defensive specialist at this point. Or someone who can provide a particular skill set to compliment the guys already on the roster. I'm not looking to just round out the team with the best 1-10 players from a talent perspective.

There are only two guys on my wish list for Vet Minimums and they are Isaiah Canaan and Jordan Hill.

The Warriors have a lot of bigs, but not a lot of experience. Looney, McAdoo, Jones are all unknowns at this point. Some depth behind Pachulia and West for a F/C spot would be great. Hill would be a great fit. I love his motor and hustle on the offensive boards. He's got a real nice mid-range game and he's adequate on defense.

Canaan might be a bit redundant with the Warriors re-signing Clark, but I think he's one of the best shooter left on the market. He could fill his natural role as a SG, instead of having to play PG because of his size with Livingston in the back court. He could also fill in at the 1, if Iguodala is out there to run the show too.

Caanan is already signed. Jordan hill would be solid but is he a rim protector? My top guy is larry sanders IMO

Just saw that about Canaan. Nope Hill is not a rim protector, but there aren't many out there available. Sanders would be an upgrade if he could produce the way he was before he left the NBA. He's been out of the league two years and his decision to leave was because he just didn't want to play anymore. How much can you really trust him?

Hill isn't a great defender but he's fine for what your team needs. He can play some solid defense.

Guess he should have followed in James' footsteps and went a year at a time?
I guess anyone who signed long term the last 2 summers can say the same thing.

Not sure how, but in general, the league should have found a way to blend this new TV cash in over a few years.
Since KD signing with GS they tried to get the union to make changes so the cap would gradually grow- it was shot down.

Well that's one way to look at it. But, LBJ opting out a week prior to KD making his decision to move to da Bay put their team in a bad way. Now, because he wants to be the highest paid player they will have to pay him which means nothing is left for any real max players without losing assets in the deal. That was a genius move.

The Warriors at this point will be looking not for talent, but for fit. Lance may be more talented than some out there, but he's not a fit from both a culture and an on-court play style. Same with Javale McGee.

It's not the type of player the Warriors need, exactly. Not sure if he has grown up since the ear blowing thing but the dude is just another distraction.

JR is a lot different than Larry Sanders and Lance Stephensen and JaVale Mcgee

Lebron had A LOT to do with J.R.'s kind of transformation. You better believe Lebron was on his back since day 1.

I thought they already have Jackson on the team?

I'd be tempted to start him and let Schroeder come off the bench for another season or so.

It's Dennis's contract season, so it might not be a bad idea. If he turns out to be a great player, he'll want a max contract more than likely.
