For that Team?

He'd be a excellent addition as long as he stayed in his lane.

My fear is that he would go into " My Team " mode and be the anti-veteran presence that they need.

I'll be honest, that's a legitimate fear given his new personality.

We might lose another Legend today..

Pat Summit.....thoughts and prayers. But, it's not looking good.
I hesitate to ever say things like this, but given her condition it may be for the best.

OKC could sign a max guy if KD leaves......they could be a player in free agency. They only have 60 million in salaries without KD.

I think the best scenario for the THUNDER is if he leaves to join the Clippers or Warriors.

Both.Teams have to lose something.

Pretty sure we'd part with Blake. Not sure if the Warriors would do the same with Green.

No top guy is joining them knowing Westbrook would follow him out the door the very next Summer.

They would have to trade for one.

I wouldn't under-estimate the power of a max contract.

BG can go back to Oklahoma......that might be the best trade for OKC if KD wants to leave.

Summitt is a legend when it comes to womens basketball.

Basketball period.

Summitt stepped down as Tennessee's coach in 2012, one year after announcing her diagnosis of early onset dementia, Alzheimer's type. She went 1,098-208 with eight national titles. She has the most career wins of any Division I men's or women's basketball coach.

Gino will eventually pass her.

That is fine, but why would KD choose LAC over Golden State or SA? He is a free agent, after all. OKC can't trade him unless he agrees to a sign and trade.

If you look at their roster.....they are loaded with SG/SF types and may go with a small ball lineup if he bolts. They have Waiters, Oladipo, Roberson, and Morrow. Not to mention Singler.

That is good enough to make the playoffs, not to do any real damage. What big time free agent is realistically going to sign in OKC? Especially considering that Westbrook only has 1 more year on his contract and would surely follow KD out the door. OKC has to be all in right now, and I am not sure they get that.
