I'm bringing a pitchfork to Sacramento and looking for Vlade if he trades Cousins for that shit offer.
No way that happens.
As well as Tristan played, and he played his ASS off...

what are you talking about. Butler plays SG/SF. Lineup:So now Chicago has three starting level guards? Who are they going to bench?

Not a bad trade for the Lakers tbh, gives them a veteran PG who can help Russell and Clarkson. And he'll be off the books next year just in case a certain bruin in Oklahoma wants to join the team. I think he's only got one year left, if not then this is way off.
Are you slow or stupid? Pick one.
They would have needed to trade both Dragic and McRobert to acquire a 27 year old Durant. They only needed to trade McRoberts to give Wade his money. Trying to trade Dragic to try an please a soon to be 35 year old Wade who only got at most 2 or 3 good years left in him would have been extremely stupid.
One guy is in the middle of his prime.....The other one is on his final legs and is likely retired in another 3 years.
It's a mix of hometown and the money, he got a better offer from Denver(the 50mil he wanted) and chose Chicago for less. Also I would have rather he stayed in Miami, and thought getting greedy for an extra 10mil when you're making 40mil was dumb.No.
It was money.
The hometown only came into play because it was better than going to Milwaukee.

Jefferson was the one guy i was really worried about that we might lose....we had no way to pay him more than 3.8 million a year- and after how well he played in the playoffs and all the crazy money going around i thought someone might try and snipe him...
so glad he is back...a good defender, EXTREMELY intelligent, good shooter, hard worker, insanely good chemistry guy....
I feel good about the Cavs offseason thus far...lets sign up JR and the rest is gravy.

Durant is still in his prime but Wade is in the sunset of his career and wanted to retire with his hometown team. The money was also a factor.Wade left the only franchise he's ever played for over money.
Kevin Durant left the only franchise he ever played for because he wants to win.
Funny how different some of the responses are here on these topics.
Whiteside has to be pissed.Come watch your Whiteside led Miami Heat, be the first two thousand in attendance and receive an angry Pat Riley bobblehead.
ya think? This offseason is far from over for the Cavs
what are you talking about. Butler plays SG/SF. Lineup:
C- Lopez
PF- Mirotic or Gibson (Depends who we play)
SF- Butler
SG- Wade
PG Rondo
Bench:
SG/SF McDermott
PG Grant
SG/SF Valentine
PF Portis
C Felicio
SF Snell
SG/SF Zipser.
true but going home is still going home. He can now retired in his city. He's going home 6 years to late IMO.
If he cared that much about home, both he and James could have been Bulls instead of Heat.
i bet you he wishes he went to Dallas or LA now.....shit.......Whiteside has to be pissed.
The Kings need good young players and high draft picks in a Cousins trade, this doesn't really check those boxes. No way that happens.
