On the Cousins rumor...didnt Love dominate like Cousins on a shitty team too? Lol I think Cousins is better and plays better D but Love is a better 3 point shooter. Just rumors, I dont believe them

So now Chicago has three starting level guards? Who are they going to bench?

C- Lopez
PF- Mirotic or Gibson (Depends who we play)
SF- Butler
SG- Wade
PG Rondo

Bench:
SG/SF McDermott
PG Grant

Jefferson was the one guy i was really worried about that we might lose....we had no way to pay him more than 3.8 million a year- and after how well he played in the playoffs and all the crazy money going around i thought someone might try and snipe him...

so glad he is back...a good defender, EXTREMELY intelligent, good shooter, hard worker, insanely good chemistry guy....

I feel good about the Cavs offseason thus far...lets sign up JR and the rest is gravy.

If I'm a Bulls fan, I'm not really on board here. Well, I guess it's all how you look at it. If you want to stay relevant than this is a good move....but for me, if the Lakers can't win a title, then I'd rather bottom out and start the rebuild process

Not a bad trade for the Lakers tbh, gives them a veteran PG who can help Russell and Clarkson. And he'll be off the books next year just in case a certain bruin in Oklahoma wants to join the team. I think he's only got one year left, if not then this is way off.

Just looked and he only has 1 year left. Combine that with the fact that he's a vet to help with the young guys and it's a solid move. Plus, he can still score a bit. Shot 41% from 3 last year.

Are you slow or stupid? Pick one.

They would have needed to trade both Dragic and McRobert to acquire a 27 year old Durant. They only needed to trade McRoberts to give Wade his money. Trying to trade Dragic to try an please a soon to be 35 year old Wade who only got at most 2 or 3 good years left in him would have been extremely stupid.

One guy is in the middle of his prime.....The other one is on his final legs and is likely retired in another 3 years.

I agree. They could have given Wade the $$$ -- they just didn't choose to do it.

(which is different than what you said ... "they can't give him the money that they don't have".)

No.

It was money.

The hometown only came into play because it was better than going to Milwaukee.
It's a mix of hometown and the money, he got a better offer from Denver(the 50mil he wanted) and chose Chicago for less. Also I would have rather he stayed in Miami, and thought getting greedy for an extra 10mil when you're making 40mil was dumb.

I really hope Felder makes the roster.

You would love his little ass.

He got offered 52 from the Bucks.

Wade left the only franchise he's ever played for over money.

Kevin Durant left the only franchise he ever played for because he wants to win.

Funny how different some of the responses are here on these topics.
Durant is still in his prime but Wade is in the sunset of his career and wanted to retire with his hometown team. The money was also a factor.

Ah, I wasn't aware that Butler played SF too. Not a bad lineup.

Whiteside has to be pissed.
i bet you he wishes he went to Dallas or LA now.....shit.......

would it be poor form for the Lakers to tell Mozgov to go fuck himself and send a contingent of hookers to convince whiteside to change his mind? lol

No way that happens.

As well as Tristan played, and he played his ASS off...

Boogie > 2 Loves and 5 Tristans
The Kings need good young players and high draft picks in a Cousins trade, this doesn't really check those boxes.
