He got offered 52 from the Bucks.
exactly that is why being home was important. Denver and Bucks offered more. He took less to go home and still say F U to Pat. With the Bulls he will have a better record then the heat so it will be another F U to Pat. In Wade eyes it was a win, win win situation for him.

ya think?

i can see them doing a couple little moves maybe...but i dont see anything major happening unless u want to say resigning Jr is a major.....i mean who knows...we shall see i guess.

Dunleavy is a nice pickup, still believe Love is leaving in a major trade.

You da man...

How you feeling about Barnes?

Parsons is the better scorer, as least he has shown to be in the past.

But, with his injury history, Barnes age, I think it turned out better for the Mavs.

Hopefully Harrison is much better than his Finals performance.

I really like Powell.

So 2 teams offered him more and he chose Chicago, so it was part hometown and part money.

It's funny dan gilbert turned out to be the good guy and pat riley turned out to be the scumbag, the whole loyalty thing he always preaches and wade signing for less to help was thrown out the window

@TurnUpTheHeat didn't you make a "Let's Just Make Shit Up" thread? Pretty sure the quoted post belongs in there.

Dude, I get it....I do.

But, if the money was the same, he would not be a Bull.

So, he left for money....He came to the Bulls, over the other teams, because it was home.

I just hope we get into the playoffs and make some noise. :hope:

If I'm a Bulls fan, I'm not really on board here. Well, I guess it's all how you look at it. If you want to stay relevant than this is a good move....but for me, if the Lakers can't win a title, then I'd rather bottom out and start the rebuild process
With only the Rondo deal I was pissed but with Wade on board we can compete in the East and try and give Cavs a run. Plus looking at following year we have enough for 1 max player. so we didn't rebuild but we reloaded. we are better then last year. As a fan at least it will be fun to watch.

Durant is still in his prime but Wade is in the sunset of his career and wanted to retire with his hometown team. The money was also a factor.

He didn't demand any roster moves from the Heat, only a higher salary.

hey - you didnt want to deal with LeBron...this is where it gets you....im glad that Gilbert has the sense to swallow his ego and open his checkbook....other teams could learn from it.

Ah, I wasn't aware that Butler played SF too. Not a bad lineup.
no not a bad line up at all plus a good bench(young). I do think they need to add another Big or a 3pt shooter by all-star break. I would start Gibson because he is athletic and can play D and rebound but have a feeling Mirotic will start because he will stretch the floor because Butler, Rondo and Wade are not great at 3's. All 3 can drive and kick.

My agent just called. I've been offered a position with the Sparks.

Not the position I wanted......but hey.......a job in basketball is a job in basketball.

He got offered 52 from the Bucks.

I heard an interview with Wade ... and he said he felt like he he had a special connection to Milwaukee ... he would play there in college and it was pretty close to his home. I think he seriously thought about joining them -- but maybe going to his real hometown was a bigger deal. (plus they have a solid team) I bet he wouldn't have hated to play for JKidd also.

It will be interesting to watch the Bulls next year. How many articles do you think will be written that "Hoiberg can't coach this team" ... and "why didn't we keep Thibs?".
