that will be interesting when Curry is up next year....his contract will go from 11M a year to being eligiblef or a full Rose-Rule max that i believe is 33% of the cap....if next offseason the cap is 105....Curry and Durant will bth be eligible for contracts that start at about 34 million a piece.

Green and Thompson- much like KI and Love- signed long term deals fairly recently and got priced in under some really nice deals- so in that regard they are in solid shape...

They'll have to fit Iggy in as well, which will definitely bring them well over the salary cap.

definitely didnt invent it- just are by far the biggest spenders in the NBA right now. This is a game, a hobby to Gilbert.

that $60 million dollar check he has to cut to the league- in his mind- is well worth it to be the owner who delivered the first title to Cleveland in 52 years.

how many yachts can you water ski behind?

Just wait until those repeater penalties start adding up.

So it's not a good idea for Gilbert, but 1000x you said Arison was cheap vs it being a good idea for him?

THATS why you're a clown.

And still waiting for how many times Gilbert paid tax without James on the roster answer.

still zero
and if arison had just spent 60 million in the luxury tax....maybe Lebron would have given him a break....instead? his cheapness really irked lebron....

if lebron does not think you are matching his commitment to winning- hes not gonna be happy...ARison wasnt...Gilbert was willing to do that...the rest is history.

Barnes was the issue though. Thats a point you dont get. He gets abused by him all the time. Also lebron is a all time great nobody can stop him if hes hitting the jumper. Also lebron had a couple great games last year but he scored 40 points sometimes while shooting 40 times in some of the games.

It's called clutch, something Durantula isn't...you will figure out eventually lol after he goes 9-29 in a game

Well then, hopefully he'll improve or continue to not shoot it. As a backup, I'm not overly concerned with his defense or 3 point shooting. He can be hidden in a decent scheme. His court vision and passing skills will be a great asset.

At a minimum one year contract (or whatever his qualifying offer is), sure bring him back.

Yep.

Aldridge lost to the Spurs in 2013-14 playoffs and joined them a year removed from a title.

Nobody said shit :noidea:.

2nd round, lost 4-1, never led the series, not even the best player on his team, joined them a year later
vs
Western Conference finals, lost 4-3, were up 3-1, former MVP, joined them weeks later

Not even close to the same situation.

Also people questioning warriors mental
Toughness. Draymond, david west, zaza are tough SOBs

Yeah with a name like that...definitely lol. Zaza hasn't played defense his whole career...tough? probably so, but he still can't play defense lol

scott hates young guys....so glad he is gone...cant wait to see these young guys under a coach like walton

Me too. I was on the Byron bandwagon when he was hired. I was really disappointed in his performance (although it did net a couple of nice picks lol).

The thing that was so frustrating was his refusal to be flexible and change his approach. I'm don't have a problem with being "old school", but you have to make adjustments based on the players you have. He didn't do that and it cost him his job. I'll be surprised if we see him as anything other than an assistant in the future and maybe not even that.

The last straw for me was when Russell was yanked from the starting lineup, then later reinserted and had no idea why each happened because Byron didn't tell him.
