Yeah but Cavs can find away. If GS can find a way to sign KD Cavs will find a way to sign Wade. Its not that hard. As you can see in the NBA u can go over the Cap. Its not a hard cap. Easy to work your way around it.

If I'm Riley, I'm on the phone with Wade saying I need a decision fairly soon.
We have a roster to fill out one way or the other.
Can't be losing players like we did when James was jacking us around.

Curry isn't KD. Curry said he doesn't need touches. I just think it helps them when he gets many touches especially the way he shot in the regular season last year. No point, we wont know till we see this team on the court.

Curry can score 30 on 12-14 shots sometimes. I dont think he cares.

I understand from Lakers View but why take that chance. Lakers have been having trouble signing top FA to come play. Why not make the trade now get Westbrook for this season and now you are a playoff team with a shot to upset a top seed. Next year you build on that.

Because OKC would surely require a package like Ingram and another quality piece, which would make it more unlikely that Westbrook would resign. Learn from the Knicks mistakes here guys. The Melo trade set them back at least 6-7 years.

I don't know how the Clippers got better. The only team that offers any remote competition in the West is the Spurs, that's it.

The Clippers are the same team but they were injured last year. The Grizzlies look pretty good on paper and now they have another shooter. But yes I agree the Spurs basically and that's it.

I think all 3 of the Spurs, Clippers, and Warriors present a formidable obstacle for the Warriors. Especially the Griz with their post offense.

Of course the Warriors will be the heavy favorites in the West... but I give each of those 3 teams a punchers chance.

That's doesn't mean he didn't set up a new meeting with the Cavs, right?

He was never going to the Bucks or Nuggets.

I could see Cavs if he's looking to try to win again.

I would imagine that he knows if Bosh is playing or not...right??

The durant signing changes everything for the cavs defense. You cant overplay curry and klay anymore and leave barnes open, now KD takes his place. Also zaza has a better offensive game than bogut or ezeli[/QUOTE]

It isn't enough of a difference, but his defense is much worse than Boguts. He has less blocks in the last 5 years than Bogut did last year.

It doesn't change the defense but nobody was complaining when Barnes was hitting his shots in the regular season. He shot 38% from 3, he was 34% in the playoffs. KD is a much better shooter but they left Barnes open for a reason, they didn't even attempt to guard him at times, it will be different with KD. Only problem is you cant double Curry which the Cavs didn't do much anyway.

It really isn't hard at all to find cap space. And speaking of now OKC cant get a wing bc KD took a long time. Their aren't many legit wings left, which sucks for them.

I understand it is different now that GS has KD, but nobody thought OKC had a chance last year. Shit happens but I do agree a slim chance but I would give it much higher than 5-10% chance.
