Meanwhile Mark Cuban is sitting on his hands.
It's high past time that this guy starts to get the treatment that other bad gm's/owners get when their teams continue to come up short, year after year

I don't understand Twitter being so low on Lou Williams. He was badly misused last year. Luke's pace suits him.

Start him at the 3, Ingram at the 2 and bring Clarkson off the bench?

I can't see them paying him that much to come off the bench....

nah, I think Clarkson will start at the 2. Deng'll start like I said until Ingram gets a handle on things. kid needs to put on some serious pounds anyhow...

I wouldn't be, whoever was tweeting it on CBS would be.

Problem for you guys, anyway, is having it means nothing, if no elite player wants it.

Exactly. The first thing the Lakers need to do is get to the point where FA's are even interested and they do that by showing improvement and winning more games. No top FA is going to a team coming off a 17 win season, regardless of the location or past history.

I'd bring Ingram off the bench for 1-2 seasons but it's hard to do that with the #2 overall pick. He needs PT.

this is why I said earlier that it's gonna be interesting seeing how Luke's gonna divide the minutes up between these guys. we'll see...

He can get 20mpg easy behind Deng's 28 but I just feel like a #2 pick should be starting.....

great post...

DEFINITELY agree that Jim just sometimes needs to zip it. best way sometimes is to let the body of work, so to speak, do the talking FOR you...

Exactly. That's the way Dr. Buss operated. No one knew what the Lakers were doing or who they were targeting for trade until the deal was done.

Didn't the Cavs trade away 2 first round picks for MOZGOV??

Plus, they had to:
move 15, 16, 17, 18 second round picks to find room
and use a valuable trade exception.

Forgotten little details and all....
They actually gave up more assets than the Lakers ever did in this super expanded salary cap era.

Pot calling the kettle black and all.

I think he'll start at the 3 for a season or 2 with Ingram coming off the bench. Then, for the last 2-3 years of the deal (depending on how quickly Ingram develops), he'll backup the 3 and also play 4 when they go small.

I think Mozgoc is a solid C. It's not a great move but it's not as bad as some are saying either. He'll mentor Zubac and he can play. I expect 12 and 9, at least with a few bpg.

For me, it's a D until I see how it works on the court. If Luke finds a way to use him effectively (I think he will), then I'll change the grade.

Are all 4 years guaranteed? Mitch has the 3rd & 4th as team options with Mozgov.
