Memphis only has 9 nationally televised games this year. Kind of shocking for a team that could compete for a top 4 seed in the West.

Edit: 4 of which are on NBATV.

The Warriors play 10 times on TNT. Can't wait to hear on repeat:

"They too little, Ernie."

Just curious, where did you see there were no opt outs?

Standard contracts by the CBA, if I recall, aren't allowed to have multiple opt out points during a contract. 1 and 1's are ok, but if you sign for 3 years, you have to play 2 years before having a chance to opt-out. He can't have an opt out after every year.

I read it was to his benefit to sign this vs the 1 and 1, so I guess this is his compromise.

Ehh, Bronny getting 30 plus mil at the age of 34 and 35 isn't the most intriguing thing in the world, but I guess Cleveland kind of had no choice but to open the checkbook and say "so what do you want Lebron"? Only problem is it seems as if Cleveland has to stick with the type of team that they have now for some years, which isn't too big of a deal, but considering that GS has formed the Zeus of all NBA lineups, it's gonna be tough to get flexibility to adjust to what they have, IF GS wins this year.

See, this is precisely the reason that I said that having a really good, promising, young cored team is almost the best place to be. Let Cleveland/GS battle all they want until their players get into their early to mid 30's, and then your young core will be approaching their mid 20's.

Lakers on Christmas Day? Why? Kobe is gone
I guess it's sort of like the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. You kind of HAVE to have the "Lakers" on Christmas even if we don't have a good team, so they threw us a bone and put us on one of those night games that nobody watches

Not looking good then....
I don't think its that bad, considering the core of those 4 players locked up.

If the projections, hit the low end.. then yeah... it won't be great. They'll be left to fill out the roster with exceptions and minimums... and of course using bird rights to sign players over the max. Again, though, that's not a horrible thing, imo, when you have LeBron, Love, Kyrie, & TT as your core.

Miami only on national tv 5X. That number can change if we're better than expected/in the playoffs race

Just quickly viewed Miami schedule in the first month. 2 interesting scheduling quirks.

1) We're done playing the Spurs for the season on November 14.

2) We have a Home & Home with a team from the western conference. Seems odd

Kings schedule out, looks like an 0-82 season for them. But I'll be optimistic and say 10-72. Not that it matters, they won't be near the playoffs once again.

hahaha....

cool....just glad we have confirmed that you think Whiteside will get suspended for acting a fool once again as well......

really not much of a bet....the combination of losing and a ton of guaranteed money are NOT a great combination with someone who has a long history of laziness and petulance and cheap shotting other players

Wow, and folks on these boards wanna give me crap for hating LeClown. Your hate for Whiteside just Might exceed it...
