Can't even compare the roster we started and a roster with Jones and Wood. Night and day.

That's what I'm saying. Tonight isn't really a fair measuring stick of our best against their best.

MLS is getting really watered down as it is with all the expansion teams.

Absolutely. They need to calm the fuck down and just let the league breath a bit. It's massively diluted right now. Every damn year there is a another expansion draft which sucks strength off a bunch of teams benches.

Hope we can get another shot at Columbia. At full strength, we've played well this tournament.

Hopefully this doesn't take the fire out of them. Judging by how they've continued to fight, I'm optimistic.

Agree with Donovan that it was pretty great tourney for team USA. But it was a disaster that soo many good players were suspended for this game. USA committed some very stupid fouls.

Jones getting redcarded in Seattle was one of the dumbest moves I've seen in pro sports when it comes to hurting your own team because it was totally avoidable. Absolutely idiotic to do that. Talk about shit for brains.

The reffing was absolutely atrocious this tournament.

Pretty much. But the reffing had nothing to do with Jones laying his hands on the face of that player and getting redcarded. Even if it was a love tap, it's a auto red card and he should of known it. It's been a point of emphasis this year. Inexcusable.

I was referring more to the reffing in the Ecuador game, and then Wood getting a yellow card when the ball should've never been in play to begin with.

This is the result we all should have expected considering our available roster and the opponent. I really would have liked to see us get a goal. 3-1 or even 4-1 would have left a much better taste in my mouth.

All things considered, I would've loved 3-1.

Hats off to a much better team, even though we handed them a couple. Hopefully we come with something on Saturday. Jones and Wood being back will be nice.
