USA needs to play the best game we have played in years tonight. No pressure on Uruguay, that could be a good or a bad thing for us.

I don’t even see us winning. Timothy Weah shouldn’t even be on the team anymore after he single handedly fucked us over in the Copa America. He’s not good enough to be a headcase annd still be helpful and the USMNT is not good enough to have a headcase and still be good.

I have never seen a team get such consistently shitty refereeing against them in their own country as the US does. Barton just blatantly sucks and seems anti-US in every match and this guy tonight is horrendous.

Well... USA is out, not to be unexpected after the Panama loss.

Very disappointing Copa America... USA first host team to not make it out of group play. Does not appear this team developed any since encouraging 2022 World Cup and looking forward to 2026... think it will cost Berhalter his job.

Thought USA started well vs Uruguay, played fast and to space... got behind a few of Uruguay defenders and drew penalties. Everything seemed to change after Balogun was injured in collision.. he was not the same and they sent in Pepi who offered very little up front.

Uruguay started to play their style and grind out the game... took more control of the possession through middle of the game until USA finally in last 10 minutes appeared to offer more, but too late for result they needed.

Concacaf overall not a good showing...

• Canada, Jamaica, Mexico 1 goal each in 3 games
• USA had benefit of Bolivia in group... only 1 goal outside that game
• Panama actually scored 6 goals... but had Bolivia as well and 10 man USA team so a bit easier
• Costa Rica... still scoreless

• Venezuela vs Canada - Canada should have a chance... Venezuela slightly better than Chile and Peru... maybe Canada finally finds some form in the tourney... so far even with 2 games vs 10 men have only mustered 1 goal.
• Panama - if they could match up with Colombia could have a chance... Colombia can often play down to level of competition. Panama fast and physical... style similar to Colombia.

Watched the Colombia/Brazil game... had not seen Colombia play since last fall in qualifying match vs Paraguay. They looked very good vs Brazil... fast and physical as always, but so much better with keeping possession of ball when they had it and building up attack to box.

I was very much impressed... Argentina has not played them in qualifying yet for 2026 (play Sept 2024 and June 2025), Colombia continues playing like that and Argentina definitely is in for 2 very difficult games.

Are you referring to all the fans rushing and entering without tickets? Happens often here in South America if security not really tight... and then can still happen at times. Barra Brava and others overwhelm entrances on purpose.

Game itself was a good one to watch... especially the 2nd half.
