Good action today in group B.

Jamaica held tough with Uruguay while Paraguay came back from 2-0 at the half to draw with Argentina

Argentina had some good chances in 2nd half to put game away, but they could not finish. Paraguay took advantage of their opportunities. Penalty in 1st half was a gift IMO... DiMaria flung his legs into defender to get that penalty. Four players that played in game have ties to my local team I support... Newells Old Boys (Messi, Garay, Banega for Arg. and M. Caceres Parg.) and coach of Argentina (Tata Martino).

I assume Mexico does not have some of their stars in Chile.. if that is not the case, then they are a very bad team. That game was difficult to watch it was so poor from both teams.

Argentina 2 goals were gifted. Have no idea what the heck the defender was doing on the first goal trying to back pass it to the keeper and as you said the pk they awarded Argentina was garbage. Paraguay 2 goals were sensational though.

1st Argentina goal may have been "gift", but was gift because of great hustle by Kuhn, he anticipated the back pass and started for it well before the pass was even made. I will chalk that goal up to great hustle.

Argentina clearly better team possessing the ball and creating chances.. the much poorer team in finishing their chances.

Biglia substitution clearly did not work... also did not like bringing on both Tevez and Higuain. Maybe too many "stars" he has to keep happy up front.

Now Argentina has tough match with Uruguay, will not be easy. An early Uruguay goal and I could see Argentina cracking under the pressure in this game and losing. There is a lot of pressure on this team to bring home title.

There was no need to bring on 2 forwards up 2-1.

As they said on Bein, when you're up you usually are bringing on another defender instead of 2 attackers

Columbia upset by Venzuela 1-0, Columbia looked very poor. They will need to beat Brazil to advance most likely or at minimum a draw. But they are in a very difficult position right now.

Brazil was the better team vs Peru, but needed extra time to win 2-1.

Business has picked up in the Copa America.

Bolivia won 3-2 vs Ecuador earlier and now Mexico and Chile scored a minute apart from each other

One of my best friend's is from Ecuador. He's pissed they got beat by Bolivia today.

Don't blame him at all. Bolivia is a shit team. As I said last week before the tourney started I was not expecting Bolivia to even earn a point in this tournament and now they have 4 and a likely spot in the knockout stage

Bolivia will have Chile next, do not see them getting a point there... so that means Chile and one other team advance. If Mexico beats Ecuador they will advance... tie or lose and Bolivia moves on.

Argentina / Uruguay game was exciting to watch.. not a lot of great goal scoring chances, but game was very intense due to the rivalry (little brother). Always impressed with how Uruguay plays Argentina/Brazil very tough.

The gal from Uruguay on my team in office here in Argentina took a lot of flack today.
