You can take the Hooligan out of England but you can't take the England out of the Hooligan...

If England can find any form, they will walk to the finals with the bracket they are in.

I do think other side of bracket is much more difficult with Spain and Germany already through and France and Portugal still potentially moving on... Belgium has not looked good this tournament much like England.

But I would not sleep on the Swiss and the Dutch are also a very good team if they meet in semis. No walk in the park with either of those teams IMO.

I agree the Swiss are looking good and England struggled again yesterday. Yesterday's performance makes me think England will continue to struggle, even if the do win the next round.

I thought after the groups, they might find their form. Much like Argentina and France, when England are playing their best, it is hard to beat them.

I like the English squad on paper... a lot of talent, but something is not clicking with these results. Only got to see portion of one game, so unsure what it might be.

Took a break from work (advantage of working remotely with some flexibility in hours) and watched 2nd half and OT of Germany/Spain.

Very good game to watch... heartbreaking goal at end of OT for Germany.

3 of 4 games went to penalties.

Turkey looked like the better team for 3/4 of match... then the Dutch flipped a switch and got 2 quick goals.

England still looks like team struggling to play as a team doing just enough to win.

Anything can happen and especially when every match seems to be a draw after 90 minutes, but based on what we have seen in this tournament, Spain sure looks like the clear favorite. I may just bet England if the number is high enough and hope for penalties.

England finally played to their potential in the first half yesterday. Play like that again and they can definitely beat Spain. More likely though is we get passed to death in the second half and Spain win by one goal.
