So I was actually curious to see what scrub team he was playing for now, which got me looking at secondary leagues in the US.

Why don't we have a relegation/promotion format with MLS, North American Soccer League, and the United Soccer League?
Wish we would, but the lowest teams in MLS are already bad enough. I'm not sure there is enough depth of teams to support it.

Hell, I really wish we had relegation for the NFL or NBA. Would make those late season games against two scrubs worth watching and they wouldn't be able to phone it in anymore.

MLS is getting really watered down as it is with all the expansion teams.

You always react the same way...so yes, you do give reactions. you claim you weren't sent packing, but in fact, you got the pink slip. I can only guess it's because you're a complete doosh bag.

But yeah, keep crying sissy pants.
What makes you think I was fired from anything? Got any proof? Have any quotes or anything that resembles facts to support it? :noidea:

You just flat out made that shit up and figure if you spew it enough it will make me mad or something. I really have no idea why you are stuck on made up bullshit, but it just tells me you aren't a skilled troll.

Carry on.

Yeah I clearly don't watch NASL games, so I have no clue what the talent level is like at the top of that league. Follow FC Cincinnati in the USL a bit. They clearly aren't close to an MLS level, but I have to think the marginal difference in talent between NASL and USL could support relegation/promotion for the top and bottom 2 teams

Yep, pretty much an admission you made it up and hope it spreads or works somehow. :L
There are plenty of things that can piss me off, but false BS that wouldn't matter even if it was true isn't one of them.

I am proud of the effort in the second half. It would be very easy for them to fold up shop and call it a night, but they're still trying to make something happen. Says a lot about this team. Too bad they didn't have the right mentality from the start, but they were always outclassed.

The USMT taking that next step would be a good start to improving that. There are a couple of good soccer cities in the US, but it isn't anywhere near popular enough to drive the top athletes to it young enough to build that kind of depth.

Really missed Wood in this game, I think. Jermaine would have helped too, on covering Messi.
Still a great improvement on their bed wetting in last summers tournament.

When I was 17, I was trying to steal beers out of people's garages and find slutty private school chicks to fingerblast. Not playing against Messi in an international tournament.

Wood would've been light years better than Wondolowski as well as Jones than Beckerman or Zusi. We just don't have the depth to absorb three huge losses like that. All the more reason to try the youth though. With Wood and Jones I think this could be a much better looking game.

Can't even compare the roster we started and a roster with Jones and Wood. Night and day.

Hope we can get another shot at Columbia. At full strength, we've played well this tournament.
