This is frustrating, but predictable. You yourself have criticized our ball handling and some of the defense most of this tournament. We are just outclassed in this match.

This tournament is the best our back line has played in 2 years.

I actually was very impressed with our defense this tournament. The US were forced into playing without three key players and Jurgen managed scared and the players matched with their play. The US is better than this. Not better than Argentina, but better than this performance tonight.

I don't disagree. I think it was Yedlin earlier you were complaining about, but the midfield play hasn't really impressed much. All those cards against Ecuador killed us so badly.

That ref was shit. Jones was great in the midfield after the Columbia game. Bradley has mostly been garbage. He has really regressed in most every facet of his game it seems. Beckerman is simply hot garbage who should only be brought on late to kill games. Bedoya isn't too good, but his hustle is at least admirable, and you can live with that if you've got some quality around him. They need the youth like Pulisic and Nagbe.

I was bringing up some of your prior comments, particularly from the first game. If I overstated it for other games then so be it. And I was speaking of defense in general, not just the back line. The whole team effort on defense.

As stated, I said defense not the back line. Everyone is on D when the other team is controlling the ball.
And I said Argentina is the best team in the world. Also said I think USMT is on the rise and it was awesome they went this far. It's encouraging. I just don't think they are anywhere near able with this lineup to play a respectable game against a team of this caliber. Maybe some day.
