2-1 Costa Rica.

Is the game over?

Really enjoyed the USA game. Had they not received that red card, I think Wood or Bradley gets that second goal.

Guzan and Brooks were solid in defense, especially with the late second half onslaughts.
Guzan's double save late in second half was just the spark he needed to boost his confidence. His Aston Villa season was a shit flop and I'm glad to see him reppin' the US.

Yedlin played well. Unlucky, as he let his emotions get the best of him.

Bradley and Jones.....I'm liking it more and more as I see it. Granted, I'm a big supporter of Beckerman, but Jones provides more pace than Bradley and that leaves Beckerman as a SUPER SUB.

Beckerman really locked down that final 10 minutes.

Dempsey proved, yet again, that he belongs on this US team. Why he isn't wearing the armband this late in his career is beyond me.

Hope they play Peru instead of Brazil.

Beckerman is only useful when you need to preserve a result. I'd hardly call him a super sub.

Really? He is old school, has earned our respect and is one of the last Donovan/Bradley era players to survive with multiple caps.....Show some respect.

I can see Brazil playing to drop a spot tomorrow. If Ecuador wins (99% sure they will) Brazil goes for the draw. Ecuador loses or draws, they give Peru the game.

Well Ecuador is not losing to Haiti so we don't have to worry about that

Like that the games are moving farther north. Should be a very pro US crowd. Can't believe the US didn't get a game up in Seattle. We've got a huge US fanbase there.

Seattle got hosed for sure. And idiotic because there would be thousands more US supporting fans in the stadium as well given the sounders fanbase up here compared to cities like Philly. Morons.

When you have a tourney on home turf, you need to stack the deck in your favor and you do that by ensuring you play at all of the "homer" stadiums. This Seattle oversight is awful.

See you fellas in Seattle on Thursday Night
