I love the NBA.
yet Kyrie Irving was the starting point guard for the Olympic team.Pure PG's who like to set up their teammates make the most sense on Olympic teams because you know they'll have enough offense as it is(and he'd still provide some scoring).
doesnt look like you are getting to those 32 wins huh?I love the NBA.

Its about talent. Its why the players themselves voted Kyrie as the best guard in the East. What Kyrie does best- beat elite defenses- he does better than ANYTHING John Wall does. you can compensate for Kyrie's shortcomings else where on the team.
John Wall is never gonna put up 40 in a finals game or 57 @ San Antonio- he is never going to hit the type of shots being d'd up like Kyrie has.
ALL AROUND- sure. I get it. But what Kyrie's best traits- are what make him special- things that cant be replicated.
plus- a guy like Kyrie - that can play off the ball or the point- is more valauble then a pure PG. The league is SWARMING with good point guards.
It was odd that Wall didn't get much consideration for the Olympic team.
I'd rather have Wall over Kyrie on my team. Wall is a solid scorer(only 2ppg less than Kyrie) while also being great at setting up his teammates and great on defense. Kyrie is a great scorer because of his 3pt shooting while being a decent playmaker for his teammates. I think Wall is more of a complete player on offense and defense, but I would still love to have a player like Kyrie on the Kings.

Has there one person (excluding Cavs fans) who said they want Kyrie over Wall? Seem cut and dry

That same person says he thinks Tristan>Whiteside....so take it with a grain of salt

if i were you i would be off the wall happy about the prospect of possibly keeping not ONLY this years pick- in a loaded draft- but also the 2019 1st rounder that would have to go to OrlandoAnd that doesn't totally upset me either since we might be able to keep the 1st round pick and add another youngster to a solid nucleus to build around. Wasn't sure if I really wanted to lose that. But, we have shown quite a bit of promise for the future....
that's because NEITHER Steph nor Paul played that summer. Come on....stop acting brand new.yet Kyrie Irving was the starting point guard for the Olympic team.

Wall has been able to lead his team as they move up the standings thus far -in the SAME conference as Kyrie. And by contrast Kyrie hasn't been able to lead his team anywhere WITHOUT LBJ. Another interesting comparison.yet Kyrie Irving was the starting point guard for the Olympic team.

except when LBJ was out in overtime- just the other night- Kyrie scored the most points of any eastern conference player in overtime this season- beating the Wiz on their home court- ending their 17 game home winning streak- and doing it with LeBron on the bench.Wall has been able to lead his team as they move up the standings thus far -in the SAME conference as Kyrie. Curry did. Stop acting ignorant (if thats possible)that's because NEITHER Steph nor Paul played that summer. Come on....stop acting brand new.

LOL ok I'll give you that one- but lets not forget who put him in that situation to win- LBJ. And when we look at the record book, he has a losing record when LBJ DOESN'T play at all. And that's WITH Love playing. SMHexcept when LBJ was out in overtime- just the other night- Kyrie scored the most points of any eastern conference player in overtime this season- beating the Wiz on their home court- ending their 17 game home winning streak- and doing it with LeBron on the bench.
nice try though.
