That has been a constant argument between Wiggy, Myself and @DJ for years.

Wall is a better pg, player.

Kyrie is a better scorer.

Yep exactly what I said. I don't think anyone will debate that Kyrie is the better scorer. If I'm starting a team and you told me I had to pick Kyrie or Wall as my PG. I'm going with Wall. Not thinking twice about it.

Wall and Irving are neck and neck IMO. Wall is a much better defender, but Kyrie is a much better shooter. They both can finish and very skilled handling the ball. Beal is close to those guys and having a great year, but I would put both those guys ahead of Beal.

Ill guarantee the Cavs would never trade Irving for Wall.

Irving's skill set is more valuable than Wall's.

there are tons of guys that can run an offense in the NBA. There are maybe 2-3 guys in the league that can do what Kyrie Irving does- and have the combination of shooting ability, and ability to finish at the basket- and beat elite defenses.

Bc Kyrie is younger and has more upside as well as he has the clutch gene. I think that is what ultimately makes him better than Wall but it is close.

I'm sure Washington wouldn't want Kyrie either. The feeling is mutual. I'm curious to see what Kyrie can do without Lebron James. I do know Wall has led his team to the 2nd round a few times without playing with the best in the world

The age difference is minor. We're talking about a year and a half. Wall is 26. Kyrie turns 25 next month. Kyrie looks great with Lebron for sure. Point Guards like him doesn't win much in this league when they're the top dog on a team.

Injury history would be much more important to me then 1 year of age, but hopefully Kyrie has now found a way to stay healthy.

Bottom line is all 30 teams would love to have either.

There is merit either way as to who one would rather have.

I personally take Wall because of overall game and the fact that he is showing he can be THE team leader.

Maybe Kyrie now can, but until he does, he hasn't.

Cousins has a great skill set, but his team can't win.

A blank slate Team, starting from scratch, Yes.

Yes and no.

Kyrie's skill set is more valuable playing next to LeBron because James is a gifted playmaker.

Replace LeBron with Paul George and Kyrie's effectiveness dwindles.

Replace Kyrie with Wall and the Cavs are still rolling.

They lose shooting. But, Korver, Smith, Frye can help mitigate that loss.

He didn't do much before James and Love got there.

the Cavs are without a doubt worse if they deal Kyrie for Wall.

Kyrie is NEVER going to average double digit assists playing with LeBron James who has the ball in his hands all the time. Kyrie is MUUUUUUUUUUUUCH better equipped to go both on the ball and off the ball.

You really think John Wall averages 10 assists playing with LeBron james- if he had half that i would be surprised- and his floor spacing ability is not close to Kyries.

Look at what's happening in Portland.

Lillard and McCollum are get mine, get mine some more and you get yours off of offensive rebounds.

They are not getting others involved and the team has regressed because of it.

Kyrie's game is perfectly suited for LeBron.

Wall would take the ball out of Lebron's hands, which is not necessarily a good thing.

But, he would get Thompson, Love, Korver easier shots and James wouldn't need to play 40 mins a game.

Of course Cleveland wouldn't trade Irving for Wall. Wall is a more pure PG and Lebron usually handles that role for the team. Lebron needs an elite scorer next to him which is what Kyrie fits in as. Everyone else gets the concept.

Maybe, maybe not.
I'm sure James would love to do less ball handling if he could.
Especially with Love out, when he'll be needed more at the 4 spot.

They are both really good and you make a good point.

But, for me, the deciding factor comes down to the fact that the Wizards are winning because of Wall and the Cavs can't say the same about Irving.

He is clearly a contributing factor. But, not the main reason.

Kyrie is Scottie Pippen to Lebron's Jordan.
