Other names I think should easily be on this list are:

Tobias Harris - 24
Justice Winslow - 23

Also if I had to choose a big from the Hornets, it would be Kaminsky (23) over Zeller.
why is Kaldwell Pope so high ya think? i thought that was weird...thats like where drummond should be.

KCP has stepped his offensive game up, but defensively is where he's shined. He doesn't get his due, but he's an elite perimeter defender. Every game I've seen him play, I've been highly impressed by him. His 3 point shot is coming along, but if he gets a little more handle and can get to the basket to use his athleticism, he could be really good.

Yep.
He did good.
Just like Anthony, UD, and every other scrub C the Heat put out on the floor with James.

Now, Tristan on his own merit??

He would equate to no more then Kevin Seraphin.

Tristan is one of the best perimeter big man defenders in the NBA. There is a reason he got paid that much, A LOT lol. Great offensive rebounder and defender but he is one of the best at the switch and yes that is when he is on an island BY HIMSELF

Have a couple who would you rather have questions based on that under 25 list:

1) Jokic or Porzingas
2) Barnes or LaVine
3) Oladipo or Russell
4) Booker or Wiggins

"There is a reason he got paid that much,"

Yes there is, he signed with Klutch.

I have a predicament, the dunk contest features former Arizona star Aaron Gordon & then Suns rep Derrick Jones.... no doubt in my mind one of these two will win it. AG deserves it after getting robbed last year, but wouldn't mind the Suns winning something either with how this season has been.

Is AG going to do it ? I know he missed a game due to injury recently.

3) Oladipo or Russell
4) Booker or Wiggins

1) Jokic *barely*
2) Barnes (before the ACL tear this would be more difficult)
3) Oladipo NOW, Russell 3-4 years from now.
4) Booker because I'm a homer

Sorry, but by any NBA standards his contract was over-paid.

Just because it's not reasonable because of the cap jump doesn't make it so it wasn't a bad contract at the time. If you look at the NBA right now, there are hardly contracts you would consider really bad right now that were signed pre-2015. Everyone is now moveable.

He's absolutely earning his money now because of the cap spike, but if it were flat, he would be taking up so much of the Cavs cap space.

i think you should become a Cavs fan considering we have Williams, Jefferson and Frye. ;)

LeBron was talking about that the other day messing around.

Yeah I saw that video, lol.

And you guys tried trading for TJ McConnell according to some rumor (idk if it was legit or not), but that would've been hilarious if it went through.

the problem was - was that he was restricted- and said he would just go into freee agency the next year- and would have even got a BIGGER contract and he would have been unrestricted.

right now his contract is - if not a "steal", a very good deal.- especially considering it takes him through his entire prime

his interior defense has continued to improve and his opposing field goal % inside the restricted area is one of the best in the entire league.

plus- he plays everyday, and plays hard everyday. 16M a year is phenomenal for Tristan.

Yeah I understand that but it's not like the Cavs were without leverage. Tristan would have to pass up a lot of guaranteed money to bank on not getting injured and exceeding how he played the previous year.

While Tristan's contract does look good on the surface, consider he's making the same amount as both Klay and Draymond. Klay signed one year before Tristan and Draymond signed the same year. There are ton's of "steal" contracts out there.

how many "big men" in the league do you think could do what Tristan does in that video as well as Tristan?

id put Draymond on that list, Steve Adams maybe, Giannis if you count him as a "big"

nerleans noel and biyombo are kind of like that but not as good at it...maybe capela.

well- thats PRECISELY what he was going to do- and considering he is the NBA's iron man and hasnt missed a game for the better part of the last decade- i think that would have worked out.

avergaging a double double during the NBA Finals that year, and probably being the 2nd best Cav in that years playoff run would have only made his value skyrocket.

this was from last month- when it was at 411....now, what? 420 or around there? ;)
Thompson injured his finger when he got it caught on Chandler's jersey. For a moment, he was worried it might affect his consecutive games streak that now stands at 411 — the longest current run in the league.

"Once they told me it was only dislocated, I knew the streak was still alive," he said.

and yah- ia gree with you wholeheartedly that dray and klay are on amazing contracts--- and along with Curry being on a 4 year 45 M dollar deal because his ankles were made out of paper mache early in his career- were the only reasons they were able to get durant.

however, this offseason when curry and durant go from making a combined 38 million- to a possible/probably 72M, there are gonna be some issues.

you think Iggy and Livingston are definitely gone?

I think Livingston is definitely gone. Iguodala might be a bit more tricky. He loves the bay area and more specifically the Silicon Valley. He's heavily invested in a lot of tech companies and one of the main reasons he choose the Warriors was because he was preparing for his career after basketball. There's an entirely plausible situation where he takes less (although not sure to what degree) to stay with the Warriors.

Livingston has been great, but combined with having to rest him a lot and him getting up there in age, he might become more replaceable. People have been saying McCaw is Iguodala's replacement, but truthfully I see him more as Livingstons. McCaw's got a great handle, good passer, but he's rail thin. He might be best served as a big point in his career. (Mecca or LAD I think called this previously, where I argued McCaw should be a 3.)

The Warriors will resign both Curry and Durant.

The bigger question becomes what do they do with the front court? Pachulia, McGee and West (all on minimal contracts) are free agents too. I think Javale will want to stay. Pachulia has already said he wants to stay.

It's going to be a crazy off-season no doubt.

as far as i can tell you guys will have nothing to retain any of those guys except the top 4 besides the mini-mid level (which is like 3 million this year but i think a little bigger next year) and veteran minimum contracts, and like a veteran exception which should be like 2M or something...its def. why they picked up that dleague guy, and have been giving young guys minutes- they will NEED them next year with no ability to pay anyone anything over 3M a year (the mini mid level- but like i said- i think that might be going up a little bit to maybe 4-5 million).
