He is pulling a Mecca.

* Yes, it's Douche to refer to myself in the 3rd person *

If there is a reasonable alternative to giving Kobe credit, I'm taking it every time...lol

But, I'm honest in my haterism.

And yours is pretty much reserved for Kobe.

Wiggy does this shit about everything.

Melo got picked for the all star game for the same reason guys like Kobe, Timmy, etc. got picked late in their careers when there were better players available. It's a lifetime achievement award and a "name" that casual fans will recognize and tune in for.

Whiteside definitely got snubbed, but he was one of several players who were also snubbed. There are only what? 12 spots available? So, players get snubbed every year and less deserving players get picked (sometimes voted in by fans) every year because they happen to be the bigger name.

Removing the Center position from the all star balloting has something to do with it too because now you have centers and forwards just thrown into one big group of players.

Anything and everything that Wiggy says about any Heat or Cavs players should just be ignored as the rantings of an immature (and likely insane) child who is completely unable to even pretend to be even slightly unbiased in his opinions on either.

Remember when Lakers fans tried to debate that Russell > Booker last year? lol

That's been settled now.
i dont know anyone at this point that would argue they would rather have Russell than Booker- thats for sure.

Suns have a lot of good young talent- and have those 2 lightly protected first rounders still coming from Miami out in the future.

It seems that at some point they will need to consolidate there talent and picks and make a deal though........

Bledsoe and Booker is a helluva back court and its not like Bledsoe's is old enough where he will be too old once these young guys come along.

Bender and Chriss have made some nice progress and are the ideal type of bigs in todays game. Len should be a decent backup that is more defensive oriented.

Warren is a little underated i think- its not easy to find a SF prospect- and he looks pretty good here and there.

the Suns have trade assets in Tucker and Dudley as well- and Knight too probably. There front office seems to have a plan and is patiently executing it.

I'd be much more impressed with if he could win a game without James.

As far as the 3 point contest I'll take Klay vs Kyrie.

1 week avi bet?

Neither has to win.
Its whoever places higher.

Deal?

Cavs are supposedly engaged with Utah for Shelvin Mack, the Lakers for Lou Williams, and the Kings for Darren Collison.

If they can convince any of those teams to take Cedi Osman for any of those 3 players ill laugh my ass off.

Walton is pretty hilarious actually...i always liked him when he was with the Cavs when the Cavs agreed to save the Lakers some money for draft considerations and take his contract....

this is from last nights post game interview view the LA Times. Lakers blown out again, this time by lowly Suns, 137-101

There was a hint of disdain in Luke Walton’s voice Wednesday night when the Lakers coach was asked about his lengthy team meeting after the debacle that was a 137-101 loss to the Phoenix Suns in Talking Stick Resort Arena.

“There were two messages delivered to the team,” Walton said after the helpless Lakers yielded their second-highest point total of the season, “one about the game, or whatever you want to call it that we just played, and one about where we are at the All-Star break.”

“It’s an honor and a privilege to play in this league. We have a great fan base, a great organization. We’re gonna lose games, but when we give in like that and don’t play with a certain competitive level, that’s not right for anybody.”

Uh no, I don't. You trying the Wiggy approach of just making shit up?

I will say, however, that so far, Booker looks to be a better player. Having said that, saying a debate is over with players this young, is pretty shortsighted and not real smart. A lot of things can happen between now and the end of their careers.

There was a time when folks said Tracy McGrady was better than Kobe. You don't hear that anymore.

I figured you would need a condition.:rolleyes2:
I'm not so sure why it can't just be head to head, but I'll accept the other way if you're to chicken for just head to head.

why did draymond get ejected?

Honestly, it looked like a "reputation/ref with a short fuse" ejection. He barked at the ref over a call, got T'd up...barked again and got the 2nd T.

He must have said the "magic word" twice. Or as Susan Sarandon said in Bull Durham: "He must have called him a cocksucker." lol

And the cocksucker cost me a fanduel win.
I had him and lost by 2 points.

It's gonna be a push 'cause Swaggy P's gonna win it.

It would be very Swaggy P to win the 3 point contest and then have his 3 point shooting fall off a cliff for the rest of the season.

if one wins- cool, if not- i dont care.

Remember when Cavs benched Tristan last minute and tried Love at C in an attempt to get Whiteside off the court?

He's done a great job so far, imo. There has been a hiccup or 2 along the way, but nothing one wouldn't expect from a first time head coach. He does a good job of knowing when to be patient and when to express his frustration. The players seem to buy in pretty well also and are pretty honest when appraising their own play and what Luke has said about it.

I like that much of his focus and comments are simply about teaching these guys how to be professional basketball players instead of just guys who get paid to play basketball.
