Ibaka to the Raptors!!
endorsements? is that a joke? You expect anything different?
Or an intelligent counter to the endorsement reply?
yikes. They finally get a good PF.....on the day the Cavs lose theirs for 6 weeks....Ibaka to the Raptors!!
i have no clue. The Cavs were not saying yesterday and reports are just coming out today. It came as a surprise to me as well.
I thought resting him these next 2 games and giving him the All Star break - almost 2 full weeks- would be enough- but apparently there is more to it.
ill definitely have my eye on any info the Cavs release. If its just general soreness and swelling thats one thing. They havenst said there is anything structurally wrong that woudl require offseason surgery that they expeect him to play though- which would be the worst scenario.
hey- i agree that is a fair point. You do not think my point is also fair though?
Yeah, for awhile there, I had no idea what the hell he was doing (I think even some Celtics fans were unsure) and it was starting to look like a clusterfuck (and I talked some shit about it too).
But it's now looking like there was a definite method to his madness and the Celtics look to be a player or 2 away from being back in contention. If the Bulls are truly open to trading Butler and the C's don't have to give up too much to get him, that may do the trick.
they can live without Love- especially if Smith comes back in 3 weeks....they hae the offense...losing Thompson for 6 weeks would kill them--- but this isnt good. What's worrisome is that he's apparently seeking a second opinion. Usually, that means that surgery has been recommended.
Hopefully, that's not the case because, especially this season, he has looked like the player the Cavs thought they were getting when they first traded for him. It would suck to see him go down when he's playing so well.
this is VERY VERY true.....even if you have the 12th slot in the lotto you still have a 0.7% chance at the #1 pick!!!!
to put it very honestly- i dont think the Heat have the good karma the Cavs had though....the Cavs had Nick Gilbert at the lotto- its like an automatic win.

endorsements? is that a joke?
Dwight Howard and LeBron James were #1 and #2 in endorsements 10 years ago in CLEVELAND AND ORLANDO. Durant never won a title and has been #2 forever in OKLAHOMA CITY.
this false narrative about endorsements being an actual factor is complete horse shit. It never happens on a practical basis.
@WiggyRuss ...
When LeBron doesn't win the MVP award this year will you write a letter of protest to the league?
its why i dont bet on the Finals when there is snow on the ground. No doubt they can live without him as far as winning the East. But beating the Warriors or Spurs would be difficult enough with him. It becomes highly unlikely without him, imo.

Love matches up really well against the Celtics and Wizards though. Thats a bummer. Wont see either till the 2nd round- but still- not ideal. It makes it less likely that those would be teams the Cavs just truck over.No doubt they can live without him as far as winning the East. Agreed. Im curious what the deal is with Bradley. Wondering if they are just being cautious with him or if he might be on the trading block.
