all right, im out for a while

im trying to write an Intentionally Defective Grantor Trust for purposes of Medicaid and i have pretty much zero idea of what im doing since its the first time i am writing one and need to concentrate.

F the Raptors.....a team in the East finally grew a pair....good for them- but its a futile act as long as LBJ and KI have it going.

Ibaka is a nice move for the Raptors. Hopefully they can make things interesting. Who will fill Ross's void, though?

Love matches up really well against the Celtics and Wizards though. Thats a bummer. Wont see either till the 2nd round- but still- not ideal. It makes it less likely that those would be teams the Cavs just truck over.

If Love isn't back (healthy), and Wiz make a real improvement type move, then I potentially can make a reasonable case that they POSSIBLY could win a 4/7 vs Cavs.

True, but unless one of them makes a move (like Butler to the Celtics) the Cavs would still likely win a series with either of those teams. They'd just have to take 6 or 7 games instead of 4 or 5.

After all, they still have Lebron and that's a pretty good insurance policy. lol

Cavs' Love has knee surgery, to miss 6 weeks

love did have his knee scoped--- removed some loose cartilage....out 6 weeks and it should correct hte problem......

this is getting dicey having to try and reintegrate Love and Smith with Korver and Dwill on the fly in early April

No doubt they can live without him as far as winning the East. But beating the Warriors or Spurs would be difficult enough with him. It becomes highly unlikely without him, imo.

I feel the opposite. Love didn't seem to contribute much of anything in the Finals last year. Of course it would hurt to lose him against them but I'm not sure how much of an impact it would have. On the other hand, he performed very well in the Eastern Conference playoffs. It would hurt the Cavs' chances of steamrolling the East like they did last year, which ultimately could hurt them against the Warriors because, as Lebron notes, the Cavs are top heavy and he'll probably be playing 45 minutes per game in the playoffs and the team will be tired come Finals time.

I feel the opposite. Love didn't seem to contribute much of anything in the Finals last year. Of course it would hurt to lose him against them but I'm not sure how much of an impact it would have. On the other hand, he performed very well in the Eastern Conference playoffs. It would hurt the Cavs' chances of steamrolling the East like they did last year, which ultimately could hurt them against the Warriors because, as Lebron notes, the Cavs are top heavy and he'll probably be playing 45 minutes per game in the playoffs and the team will be tired come Finals time.

I knew Love didn't have a good Finals showing but damn I didn't realize his #'s were that bad. 8.5 ppg, 6.8 rpg & .362 from the field.

The bold is the big concern and why Love would be important, imo. Because Love played well in the EC playoffs, Lebron didn't have to do as much and was able to go crazy in the last 3 games of the finals. If he has to do that to get out of the East, how much will he have left in the finals? He's got a lot of miles on him already.

Yeah, I think where it would hurt the Cavs is the minutes Lebron and Kyrie would have to play to get out of the East. They need to be rested for the finals to have their best shot.

I ran across an article on yahoo that said the NBA asked Jordan to try & fix the stuff between Oakley & Dolan. Glad they worked that out. It was a 100% clown move on Dolan's part to ban him in the 1st place.
