Is there anyway the basketball gods can make both the Warriors and Cavs not make the finals?

Nice start to the season....5-0....beat the Celtics who many think will be the biggest threat to the Cavs this year.....looking good thus far.

LeBron and Kyrie both look simply unbelievable.

LeBron so far this year?

19/14/11
21/7/8
23/9/6
19/8/13
30/12/7 shooting 51% from the field--- playing 36.4 minutes per night

Kyrie?
29/4/2
26/6/6
20/2/4
32/4/2
23/6/4 shooting 48% from the field and 50% from 3-- playing 34.8 minutes per night

Good luck to the rest of the teams in the East....

it wasnt draymonds fault---- it was the other players fault for making draymond mad...cmon.

And funny thing is (not sure if you saw the play), KD blocked Russ and talked some shit. Russ didn't even acknowledge him and the clown Draymond decides to get involved when there was really nothing going on and picked up a stupid T. Dude is a clown

Nice start indeed. But you guys beat the Celtics on last half of a back to back, missing 2 starters. That game was won at the line for you guys too. I doubt you guys took it easy on em since you scored 128. If they are indeed the Cavs biggest threat, that's gotta be a little concerning.

I don't know who thought this. Everyone already conceded the East to Cleveland so not sure where you got that from. Also it should be took into consideration that the Boston was on the 2nd night of a B2B.

not only that but no crowder and no horford....although jaylen brown looked really freaking good- i gotta say

and i realize pretty much everyone assumes the Cav will win the East---- but i think its a pretty much the consensus that Boston or Toronto will be their biggest threat...

its just good to bank some of these wins at the beginning of the year- already have wins vs. toronto and boston...not that its essential for the Cavs to get the #1 seed- but to be able to secure it- and be able to rest at the end of the year will be helpful.

I honestly don't know who I think is the biggest "threat" to the Cavs this year in the East. Realistically nobody, but second best team? Probably still Toronto, I guess. Maybe ATL if everything keeps clicking.

Yeah I would go with Toronto as well. DeRozan is improved. They need to make a move though and acquire a shooting specialist.

in the east its gotta be either them or Toronto...maybe Indiana if Indiana gets their shit together at some point and starts playing good ball....Paul George i thi nk is the 2nd best player in the East.....though how Kyrie is playing is making me start to drift on that thinking...

thy have a pretty deep becnh too...cJ Miles, Stuckey, Al Jefferson, Lavoy Allen....

I think Indiana is cooked when it comes to being a top team in the east. That defense is horrible now that Vogel is gone. I'm thinking they're a middle of the pack type of team. 5th or 6th seed probably

its def gonna take some time...adding offensive first players like Thad Young and Jeff Teague certainly isnt going to make them a great defensive team - and losing Mahimi hurts there too- but they have pieces....Turner looks like he could be really special.

the most important thing is having a star in their prime- and they have that in Paul George who i think is without a doubt a top 10 player. that goes a long way. Boston and Toronto dont have anyone like that- thats for sure.
