Exactly. Guy been in the league for 5 or 6 years now and failed with every team he's been on. If you need to play with Lebron James to be a solid player in this league then you're really not a good player

Agree to a point. As I said, some guys are late bloomers. Maybe that's the case here? Maybe not?

I will say though, that after 5-6 years of failure, the chances that he's just a late bloomer are far more slim than the chances he's just not very good.

lets see if LeBron and his leadership can whip the guy into shape- like he said- its not everyday you get a guy that is that athletic who is 6'8" and still only 25.

At the very least its a guy that can suck up some minutes so old man Jefferson doesnt wear himself out. If Jefferson barely played until the playoffs that would be fine with me.

Maybe he's like a taller Nick Young? Young has been a marginal (at best) player for his entire career and reached a point where the Lakers couldn't get a half eaten bag of stale potato chips for him. Luke Walton comes along and suddenly he looks like the player people thought he was going to be when he first came into the league.

His being 6'8", athletic and only 25, definitely make him worth a look. It's probably more likely that it won't work out, but definitely worth a look on a 10 day. No risk, potentially high reward. As you said, even if all he does is give Jefferson some quality rest...he's done his job.

Buddy Heild was thrown out of hte NO Vs SAC game for grabbing ball sack, cant grab a sack, especially if its a Cousin. Although you would think in Sac they would be okay with it. Demarcus was not amused.

Considering some of the clothes he wears, Westbrook probably hangs out there with these guys:

Did you read this about Pat riley? Riley was so adamant about not helping his former superstar that he totally abandoned two trades just to keep Cleveland from getting guard Norris Cole, James’ former teammate who stuck around in Miami until he was dealt to the New Orleans Pelicans at the trade deadline in 2015.

Riley was so adamant about not helping his former superstar that he totally abandoned two trades just to keep Cleveland from getting guard Norris Cole, James’ former teammate who stuck around in Miami until he was dealt to the New Orleans Pelicans at the trade deadline in 2015.

The Heat have now seen their relationship sour with not just James, but his two star teammates who helped bring the Heat back-to-back titles, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Wade left the Heat as a free agent to join his hometown Chicago Bulls, and Bosh has been sidelined with blood clots despite insisting that he is able to play."

LOL

Report: Pat Riley Killed Two Trade Deals to Avoid Helping LeBron James | Cavaliers Nation

Uh, you understand that when Lebron left and went back to Cleveland he became an opponent that the Heat would have to beat to get back to the finals, right?

And you understand that it's generally not a good idea to help an opponent that you are trying to beat get better, right?

You also understand that the Heat offered Wade all they could and that Bosh could die if he plays again and that the "soured" relationships are more on Wade and Bosh than Heat, right?

Because if you do, then you realize how stupid that article is and how stupid you are for posting it.

Pretty tight race out west for the final spot to see who will get destroyed by the Warriors.

4 teams currently separated by 2 games. I'm hoping the Kings or Nuggets get in

Kings are supposed to tank and try for a top 6-8 pick in the draft and instead win 3 straight. I said earlier in the season that I'd be happy if they made the playoffs even if it just led to a 4 game sweep, but I'm not sure I want that now. Worst case scenario is they miss the playoffs and fall out of the top 10 losing their pick and playoff spot....which means that is what will most likely happen.

Glad you said it. This guy won't comprehend a word you just said.

One of those teams needs to give the Lakers a 2017 first round pick for Lou Williams. C'mon guys! It'll totally be worth it!

An interesting fact is that Wade was never the highest paid player on the Heat. It seems like he would have been between Shaq & Lebron -- but it was guys like Jermaine O'Neal & Marion.

Yep. It was Eddie Jones in his first year. Shaq for the next 4 years. JO for the following 2 years. LBJ/Bosh for the 4 years for the big 3 but it was really close. They were making damn near the same. And the last 2 years I think it was Bosh. Not too sure

Now, he's the most overpaid on the Bulls.

Speaking of, where's @purguy12 ?
Much less enthusiastic then he was after first 10 days of the season.

The Heat traded for Marion and O'Neal, it's not like they signed those guys to those contracts leaving Wade scraps. Plus, Wade was on his extension from his rookie contract at the time right before he signed his big one. People blow up this narrative way too often, and don't bother looking at it in more detail.

He knows I was right and got into several sparring matches with yours truly. I don't blame him for not hanging around here often. I could be a very miserable person to be around when you try to tell me I'm an idiot about being right about something coming, and it actually happens.

Yeah you're right. If you look at the years of the big 3, his contract was almost identical to Bosh and James
