its just back to the reality of being a 10th place Eastern Conference team.

So the team that a few weeks ago was 11-30 is now supposed to win every game, home and road, and playing 3 in 4 nights?

We know our reality though.
Never had any expectations of any sort this season.

Have you accepted the reality yet that nobody is beating the Warriors 4/7 in June?

absolutely not....great win streak...give them credit.

if i was a fan though looking toward the future i would have preffered they lost all 13 of those games...especially considering Winslow wasnt even a part of it.

but i understand the gut reaction and wanting your team to win.

for years ive said the WORST place to be in the NBA is right outside the playoffs in the East- and thats right where the Heat are right now.

My opinion on the wins/seasons hasn't changed, but like BK and I have stated, it is what it is.
Players and coaches play to win.
The one thing we have learned is that we have some good players, who are no fluke and still have more ceiling.

Riley has some interesting decisions to make.

I disagree. It is a win-win situation for the Heat. If they make the playoffs then great. Making the playoffs in a year when everyone expected you to get a top 5 pick is a great accomplishment for the coaching staff and players. If they don't make the playoffs then we likely get a top 10 pick or so in a deep draft. A lottery picks guarantees you absolutely nothing. Most lottery picks don't even pan out to be that great. You can find a star with the 15th or 16th pick in round 1.

Got the S.A./N.Y. game on right now. They just interviewed former Knick Latrell Sprewell. I got a bit choked up seeing him again. Really Dolan...the best you can do is Sprewell?:pound:

The Heat have options though. They're not locked into this roster outside of Whiteside's contract along with Dragic. Both of which are trade pieces that could be used. We're also operating at a 25% handicap to the rest of the league. If Bosh was healthy and playing, this team is a 4-6 seed, possibly.

Point out where Heat fans were saying we were going undefeated the rest of the way. I'll wait.

Well since they won all those games in a row maybe they could lose their next 27 to end the season on a 28 game losing streak?:noidea: Wait a minute, that's a really bad idea.

We're good, Wamu. Don't want to go taking Cleveland's record away from them.

especially since Denver's first rounder has a decent chance to be top 10.

this makes no sense- Nurkic and a top 10 pick for Plumlee and a 2nd rounder? WTF....

its not like nurkic makes a lot of money right?
I thought I read the first round pick comes from Memphis. Probably not top 10, but in this draft a mid 1st round pick still has good value.

It's more like Nurkic and a pick between 21-25 for Plumlee and a 2nd rounder

Of course I've heard of it, he knew it was a Westbrook and others hang out. It's all good, it was handled properly.
Don't those guys hang out at the YMCA?

Bulls down 24 to Minnesota with no Butler or Wade again. Basically the Heat losing to Philly last night is going to mean nothing in the long run as Charlotte and Chicago failed to capitalize. I fully expect Detroit to lose tonight as well

ohh okay...

thats the pick the Cavs gave them for Mozgov...it has really weird protections on it. I think it ONLY tranfers if its top 13 or something but not top 6. The Cavs got the first rounder originally from Memphis by taking on Speights and Ellingtons contracts.

Revisiting the Jon Leuer Trade

. Starting in 2015 the pick could be conveyed to the Cavaliers. The pick is protected one-five and 15-30 in 2015 and 2016 (meaning the Cavaliers would acquire a 6-14 pick) and the pick is protected one-five in 2017 and 2018. If the pick has not been conveyed by 2018, it becomes unprotected in 2019.
