ask me again why I ALWAYS say that whenever LeClown opens his mouth a HELLUVA lotta dummy spills out...

Yep. Funny thing is, Kobe has said negative things about teammates and been rightfully skewered for it. Hell, people flipped their shit when he unfollowed his teammates on twitter because of supposedly doing something different with his account. But Lebron slams a guy by saying "We don't have a backup point guard" and that's supposed to be just fine.

I've always liked Kobe for that. He's an ass, but he'll own it and his sensible fans and/or Lakers fans wouldn't deny it. My kind of guy.

Yeah, most Lakers fans look at it as: The guys an asshole, but he's an asshole that we might be 5 championships lighter without.

From a conversation/debate we had in the offseason. Looks like Bosh is all but retired at this point:

Bosh mulling future; UM finalist for elite player

"Bosh, speaking at a CES gadget show in Las Vegas, did not address his health but said he’s still figuring out what he wants to do next.

“I'm still learning more about myself and my situation, and really off the court how to function there because I'm kind of getting the taste of retirement now," Bosh said, via the Associated Press. "Just trying to navigate those waters because it gets a little complicated sometimes. ... Hoping one day that the stars align and I figure some things out and things kind of just go my way and I'll be able to do what I want to do. I don't know what that is yet."

Bosh hasn’t played since last February because of another episode of blood clots. The Heat has said it is no longer working toward a Bosh return to the court. Miami can apply to remove his salary from its cap after Feb. 8."

not male pattern baldness...lol...too bad for Lebron. He will just have to settle for winning. ;)

I wonder if this deal is made if Smith is healthy...interesting to think about- dan g. def. stepped up again.

Looks like he may finally be slowly starting to accept that he's not going to play in the NBA ever again. It sucks because he definitely has a few years left of playing at high level.

Hope he figures out what he wants to do. Seems like a fairly smart guy, maybe he can get into coaching? I'd bet the Heat wouldn't mind having him in a "special consultant" type role to work with young bigs, like the Lakers have done with Kareem.

you are such a hater!!

The Cavs bench was verysoli d even before Korvers' addition. Richard Jefferson- you happen to catch Christmas day vs the Warriors?- he can definitely still play and be a very good bench contributor---- Shumpert has played very good all this year--- Channing Frye is playing great ball.

its just the typical hate from you.

talking about signing Delly- a guy who didnt play in the NBA Finals but a couple minutes here or there- for JR Smith- who without they dont win the Finals. His bigtime 3's thesecond half ofgame7 were HUUUUGE coming out in the 3rd qtr. when the Warriors were pulling away. THe guy was even playing very good defense.

Dan Gilbert did what Dan Gilbert does---- despite already having the LARGEST PAYROLL IN NBAHISTORY - he says- "You can improve the team Griff?- cool- ill foot the bill"

You are such a child.
Anyone who disagrees with you is a "hater"?

Didn't I make a case for James being MVP last week?
What have I said about the Cavs this season that was negative?

The players you named have been ok, but they are all the same.
Delly at backup PG would be more important as of now then Korver as an extra SG.

Tell us all again how great Dunleavy will be this season for the Cavs.

thought this was kind of funny-- the "Lou for 1"

6. Lou Williams, still owning the Lou-for-1
A full five years ago, I wrote a little story for Sports Illustrated about how Lou Williams absolutely owned the 2-for-1. Like, no one on those Philly teams even tried to get the ball in the last 40 seconds of a quarter. He had an entire art to it: The first shot had to be a 3-pointer, usually released with about 35 seconds remaining. With the defense primed for another triple on the last possession, Williams would zip into the lane for one of his goofball runners.

I'm happy to report the Lou-for-1 is still very much a thing. The other Lakers get out of the way. "The chain of command there is Lou first, second, third, and fourth," Larry Nance told me, laughing.

Williams is a true NBA character.

Ten things I like and don't like, including LeBron-Kyrie magic

When you have James/Kyrie/Love, that's pretty much all you need.

.
Well this isn't entirely true. They also need the refs- all three of them- when it comes to beating the Warriors.

He MIGHT play important minutes, he certainly MIGHT not.
Assuming Love/Kyrie and James are on the court, that leaves 2 spots. Lets assume one is occupied by someone with size.
Is JR now benched?
Or, is James going to petition the league to allow the Cavs to play 6 on 5?

Korver sucks as a defender and that already can be an issue with certain other rotational players.
One thing about Delly, dirty or not, he tried to make things difficult.

Personally I cant wait to see a lineup of:

Pg- Kyrie
Sg- Korver
Sf- Bron
Pf- Love
C- Frye

they will just rain triples.

once again.

THANKS DAN! Thanks for expanding what was already the BIGGEST PAYROLL IN THE HISTORY OF THE ENTIRE NBA in order to get a player like Korver , + the additional cash (at least 5M if they just sign a guy for the min.- substantially more if they use the trade exception for a guy)- to sign a point guard like a Chalmers/Cole/Jack.

so basically- you are getting Frye, Korver, and (Point Guard to be signed later)- lets say Chalmers for the vet. minimum - for a combined $14 million before tax. Delly got paid 10M a year.

who would you rather have?

Frye, Korver, and Chalmers (or Cole Or Jack- or someone like that) for a combined 14M- or Delly by himself for 10M

its a very easy question....and just further goes to illustrate genius of David Griffin- who has masterfully continued to add to this roster - despite some fools that try and say the Cavs are out of options to add to the roster.

Well- Griffin keeps on finding ways to bring in players- with a healthy doseof the credit going to Dan G. for having the biggest fattest wallet the league has ever seen.

lol That lineup against the Warriors in the finals might mean that for the first time in NBA history, there will be no players in the paint on either end of the floor.

So the combined 30M+ Klutch contract players aren't even good enough to be on the court?

OK..
