Damn u CBA. It will never end with these super teams. Let's go Boston make a move.
Great trade for cavs. They have 4 All Stars now. Super 4 team with a work horse in TT. Not bad
i think what he means is that the Cavs 3's are more a by-product of driving and attacking by LeBron and Kyrie- then the Warriors who rely more on perimeter ball movement and spacing. Can't imagine how Barkley feels about this
I imagine the next TNT segment will go something like this:
Chuck: "DA CAVS ARE NOT A JUMP SHOOTIN TEAM, ERNEH. THEY DO NOT RELY ON THE THREE POINT SHOT LIKE GOLDEN STATE DOES. THEM BOYS CAN BEAT YOU INSAHD OR OUTSAHD."
Ernie: "But Chuck, the Cavs are 2nd in the league in 3 pointers attempted, and just added one of the deadliest 3 point shooters in the league. Isn't it a little unfair to label Golden State as a jump shooting team, and not Cleveland?"
Chuck: "ERNEH, I BEEN AROUND DIS LEAGUE FO OVAH 30 YEARS, AND I HAVE NEVAH SEEN A JUMP SHOOTIN TEAM WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP. DA CAVS STILL GOT MORE SIZE THAN THE WOMEN DOWN IN SAN ANTONIO. DA WARRIORS STILL GOT NO ANSWA FO THAT".
Shaq: "And you still got no ring Chuck!"
*Shaq leans forward, laughing to himself*
Yes but was an all star and one of the best shooters in basketballKorver is nowhere near an Allstar anymore, especially on D. He's a 3 point specialist, nice to have, nothing more.
Quote from that article:
LeBron James acknowledged the Cleveland Cavaliers' need for a backup point guard with Mo Williams still taking a roster spot.
Cleveland drafted Kay Felder in the second round but he's still a rookie.
"Kay's in the process of learning on the fly," James said. "He's a rookie and is going to have his mistakes and things of that nature. It's tough on him because we're a franchise trying to win a championship. He has to have a fast-track mind. But we don't have a backup point guard."
hmmmmm....LeBron seems to be of the opinion that its extremely difficult for a rookie learning on the fly being able to be relied upon to be a contributor to a championship contending team...who else said that? do you know @Mecca ? lol....
he even goes so far as to say "we dont have a backup point guard" despite Felder contributing pretty well the last 3 games...which brings it all back full circle.
Kay Felder actually DID contribute in two wins last week- but what did LeBron say? "WE DONT HAVE A BACKUP POINT GUARD"
ill keep siding with LeBron...![]()
What a shocker!
He's a rookie on the best team in the league. That's right the Cavs aren't the best team in the league, despite what you think. How much PT do you expect him to get? I think it says good things about him as a player that he's even getting any PT this season w/ the talent the Warriors have. Some of your rants are truly bizarre. From bashing Pat Riley (even though his NBA resume speaks for itself) to your insistence that Thompson is a better hoopster than Whiteside. I can't wait to see who you have a problem w/ next!![]()
I'm not sure of that now. With the addition of Korver the Cavs will be deadly! I got cottonmouth, time for some iced tea.

he is just speaking the truth- you arent gonna rely on a 2nd round rookie when you are competing for a title...you just cant. What a bullshit thing for Lebron to say. Way to express confidence in your teammate.
And he says it publicly no less.![]()
i wonder what the over/under on that game was.....id take the over though i can tell ya that.Gotta say I am watching the Lakes Blazers game and I am seeing some real speed by the purple and gold.

the Korver deals opened up a roster spot since Mo and Dunleavy are gone (assuming the deal is complete and goes through which it doesnt sound like its final yet by any means)...
i am assuming they make a move for a real credible backup point guard fairly soon- whether thats Cole, Chalmers or Jack--- or someone else- i couldnt say. I highly doubt it iwll be Rondo like i have seen some speculation on.

Randle right now has 4 assists in the first half. unbelievable. How often do you see a 22 year old big man that can pass like that? you can definitely tell Walton is trying to groom him into a draymond like player.Gotta say I am watching the Lakes Blazers game and I am seeing some real speed by the purple and gold.
Still a bullshit thing to say publicly about a teammate. It's worse that he said it about a rookie. ...
That's just pure bullshit.
i gotta say- its hard to criticize LeBron when you see the results....plus- i mean- this tweet from Jason Lloyd makes the void at backup PG pretty apparent:Still a bullshit thing to say publicly about a teammate. It's worse that he said it about a rookie. I don't have too much of a problem with him saying that it's tough to be a rookie trying to learn the game on a team looking to win a championship. He should have stopped there.
But nope, in typical Lebron fashion, he had to say "We don't have a backup point guard." That's just pure bullshit.

About that backup point guard issue? Cavs had 0 assists and 8 turnovers in 4th quarter Wednesday. Final thoughts: http://www.ohio.com/blogs/cleveland-cavaliers/cleveland-cavaliers-1.275356/bulls-106-cavs-94-jason-lloyd-s-23-thoughts-on-point-guards-sick-lebron-and-a-thin-roster-1.738178 …
. The Cavs only committed 15 turnovers, which is not an exorbitant figure for an NBA game. But the Cavs had eight turnovers and zero assists in the fourth quarter Wednesday with Kay Felder, an actual point guard, on the floor for more than nine minutes. Yet despite all that, somehow they still were within one point with 6:48 to play in the game.
3. It isn’t just someone who can bring the ball up and run pick-and-roll or get the offense into a set. They lack another creator who can get quality shots for others. Felder has shown some confidence and considerable improvement the last few games, but no one is ready to anoint him the answer. As a second-round pick, Felder barely has his own nose above the NBA waters right now. He can’t be expected to consistently set up others.
