Lakers and Blazers in a good one. 84-84 at the start of the 4th quarter.

Lakers lose. And to make it worse, they ruined my pick em. They kept it within the 4.5 point spread the entire game until the final 3 minutes. :gaah:

It's not hard to criticize Lebron at all if you understand team sports. Like I said, him talking about it being tough to be a rookie on a title contending team is fine. That stuff about "We don't have a backup point guard" is bullshit and never should be said publicly about a teammate even if it's true.

No reason for him to say anything publicly, but that's just James being James and the defense spin is just Wiggy being Wiggy.
Anyone with a brain knows the Cavs will make a move and the reasons why are self explanatory.

No team has a chance in the East now even before this trade maybe a team gets 2 wins in a series. Korver is hitting a crazy 82% on open shots. Best in the NBA. Just imagine how many he is going to get with Irving and LBJ dishing it to him. This team was already the 2nd best team
In 3's. like I said before only negative cavs get a little worse on D. Korver has struggled on D big time this year.

Korver must feel like he won the lotto last night.
Great add by the Cavs. They gave up nothing.

just more $$$$$$$ - especially when you figure in the replacement (likely PG) they pick up to replace Mo Williams.

Thanks Dan!

One way to look at it, OR, they could have just kept Delly for 1/2 what they ended up paying J.R. (Klutch) and still found a shooter like Korver.

While Delly is nothing great, he was a great fit/role player like Tristan for the Cavs.

When you have James/Kyrie/Love, that's pretty much all you need.

Now you have an extra shooter but still no viable backup PG.

Not saying you won't get one, but quit acting like Dan did anything spectacular here.

He cut salary originally, now is trying to regroup because obviously the bench is pretty much garbage.

You were raving on Dunleavy, when most here told you he was a downgrade.

you are such a hater!!

The Cavs bench was verysoli d even before Korvers' addition. Richard Jefferson- you happen to catch Christmas day vs the Warriors?- he can definitely still play and be a very good bench contributor---- Shumpert has played very good all this year--- Channing Frye is playing great ball.

its just the typical hate from you.

talking about signing Delly- a guy who didnt play in the NBA Finals but a couple minutes here or there- for JR Smith- who without they dont win the Finals. His bigtime 3's thesecond half ofgame7 were HUUUUGE coming out in the 3rd qtr. when the Warriors were pulling away. THe guy was even playing very good defense.

Dan Gilbert did what Dan Gilbert does---- despite already having the LARGEST PAYROLL IN NBAHISTORY - he says- "You can improve the team Griff?- cool- ill foot the bill"

i thought for sure they would have insisted on McRae.
I agree, this is one one of the dumbest trades I have seen in awhile. U cant even say it was a salary Dump because well he is a FA after this year.

U know whats a little funny 1 player Cavs miss is Dellavedova.

yah i agree to a certain extent... i think he definitely had a nice role during the regular season- in a salary cap league though where you sign one guy to the exclusion of another- its hard to invest 10 million a year in Delly when he is not in your playoff rotation.....sure it would be nice to have him here and there---- but instead of Delly you basically have the moves that got you Frye and Korver (with a little extra money of course).

id rather have Frye, Korver- and a backup pg that they will eventually sign like a Chalmers, Cole or Jack-----then just Delly.

Interesting fact

the Raptors are 0-7 vs. the Cavs, Warriors, Spurs, Clippers

the Celtics are 0-5 vs. the Cavs, Warriors, Spurs.

Why is this so shocking? None of these teams are very good. They're ok team in a bad conference

The Lakers need to petition the NBA to allow them to go straight from halftime to the 4th quarter. They don't play the 3rd quarter anyway. May as well see if they can make it official. They could pick up a few more wins that way. lol

So it looks like the Cavs didn't give up Mo Williams. They gave up a 2019 1st round pick as well as Dunleavy.

Cavs Trade Mike Dunleavy for Kyle Korver | Cleveland Cavaliers | Hashtag Basketball

Atlanta's such a joke. You're sitting in the middle of the playoffs right now, but are deciding to just tear it all down. What a joke of an organization. And not only do you tear it down prematurely, you send assets for nothing to your competition.

It's not surprising. Says a lot about how weak the East is given that this is their main "competition" out East.
