I thought he was decent but didnt really have the athleticism to be a bulldozer on defense...i dunno --- i mean- he has to be good- but 2nd team?

Ehh, he's a plus defender, but I wouldn't say 2nd team worthy. Tony Allen every year he plays should get consideration. TBH, I'd probably give Jimmy Butler the second team nod, considering what Butler has to shoulder on the offensive end. He's also an elite defender too.

For me I'd have:

Beverly, Roberson, Leonard, Green, Gobert
CP3, Allen, Butler, Giannis, Whiteside

Whiteside is hit or miss for me, could go either way there. I just don't think Howard's had an elite defensive year. Drummond would have been a real strong front runner for me to start the year fell off. DAJ has been up and down too. I'd give the nod to Whiteside.

Pretty easy answer there, ESPN has to shine the light on Curry some how since he's not in the MVP talks, no longer the best player on his team, and is having a regressive year.
