Who do you guys think will be Michigan's starting QB when we open with Utah next season?
Shane Morris: Morris will probably be the favorite going into Spring Practice, but it's hard to say at this point. I think the position is wide open after the way Morris played last year. If we ever get anything out of Morris, next season will be it. He was highly recruited and will be a Junior next season. He hasn't proved to me he can lead the program, but will see.
Alex Malzone: Malzone has the chance to start as a true freshmen this fall. He enrolled early and will take part in Spring Practice and that's going to give him a huge leg up. This kid looks very talented, but it's hard to say if Harbaugh will throw a true freshmen out there. I believe it will be Shane's job to lose, but he could quickly lose it to this kid.
Those really are the only 2 options in my book. My guess is one of these 2 starts every game for Michigan next season. I wouldn't be surprised if both start at the beginning on the year, with Harbaugh finding his guy in the first month, before conference play.
