Tolerator
And Big Stinky Pelf is back.
Vargas is getting hits, yeah, but he's been chasing pitches. He needs to make some adjustments. He hasn't been going to the plate with a plan. Just guessing. Pitchers have adjusted to him... He needs to make some adjustments of his own. This isn't a demotion. It's a way for him to play everyday and get instruction. He'll be back soon enough.Vargas being sent down makes zero fucking sense. Terry Ryan needs to be put in a home.
Is Vargas playing great? No. But he's hitting well over .300 this month. And now you send him down?
Legit mental.
I understand Arcia may have to DH for a bit when he returns but seriously we don't need scrubs like Nunez, Schafer and Bernier when we have Hicks, Rosario and Varags who are all better, younger and high upside.
It's frustrating even more since our team is actually playing good ball!!

It still doesn't make any sense to do it now. We should have done it earlier.
I'm sick of the philosophy if they are young, send them down. If they are old and proven they can't hit just let them keep playing!!
Arcia would have been demoted 7 times already if he was hitting like Schafer. They jerked the guy around for 2 years and it's why he's STILL learning.
Our top prospects are that for a reason they are too good for the minors. They are past getting better down there. It's here they need to play and learn. Except Meyer, idk what the hell is going on with that dude.
Vargas had never even been to AAA yet. He came straight up from AA last year. You have to get the Gardenhire past... It's a reason why Hicks has struggled. Gardy KEPT him up too long at times, to show the FO the "lack of talent" he was given, trying to get them to spend some. It's just to work on some things and the timing was right. He wasn't going to play while we're in Pittsburgh (DH), and had Monday and Thursday off... so rather than have him just sit around, let him go work on some things. It's not going to be a long trip down.
Why in the holy hell did curly Ryan recall Stauffer? We already got duensing on borrowed time, so he wants to weaken the BP?
Molitor might actually be a miracle worker. 23-17 with a front office that's throwing darts for decisions.
Maybe our bullpen isn't as weak as we all thought? Maybe it's the presence of Everyday Eddie? Whatever they got... it's working. What's nerve wracking, is Perkins. I know he's perfect in save opportunities, but does he have to allow 2 men on every time?
