Molitor just has a good confidence instilled in the team. Really his only downside is playing Escobar in LF, just can't keep happening.

I was just talking about that earlier today with someone. We keep winning, so there's no chance for Milone right now... and little over a month before they have to fit Santana in the rotation.

Yup. I actually love our situation for this year. We've got vets that are absolutely vital with our little margin for error.

It's more the multi year deals going forward. We have so many young pitchers that need to advance as well as hitters.

Going to be interesting if we're still alive come July. No excuse not to make trades. We have prospects and MLB ready talent to be able to add for stretch run.

Gonsalves is making low A look like tee ball and that tawainese guy is throwing gem after gem. Of course there is Berrios. Me like.

Honestly insane right now. Really need Hughes to find himself but this run is incredible. Clutch hitting isn't the best thing to count on but we're so good at it right now.

Did not like how we managed the BP today but we escaped and then Perk was Perk and closed it out!!!

Easily the worst loss of the season. Just inexcusable. I knew our penchant to score big early and stop would get is eventually but that was just bad.

Got fucked by home plate ump but no excuse. And really no idea why Perk was even pitching.

Couple of things...

First 20 win month since ..... June 1991!

This season has that same kind of strange feeling, much like that 1991 year. We're "good" but we don't "quite belong." Even during the mid 2000s, I never had these feelings.

The question is: How good are we?

Crazy to think this has all been without the service of our prized off season signing. I can't wait to see what June brings leading up to Ervin coming into the picture. Suddenly our pitching does not seem so bad anymore. Almost feels as if it happened overnight and came out of nowhere. Could Rick Anderson possibly have anything to do with this? Nope!

Rick was awful and Allen is showing it.
