the LAkers defense is ROUGH.... 112, then 132, then 30 in the 1st quarter to the not exactly expolosive Mavs......yikes.
On the bright side I think Randle has looked really good for the most part- maybe not statistically yet but he looks in shape and appears tobe developing a right hand.
Yeah, they still have some things to figure out defensively. I think most Lakers fans expected some defensive struggles early. Defense in the NBA is about communication and trust. Hard to have those with so many new faces. Now, if we get to the 25-30 game mark and we don't see improvement, they have a problem.
Really liking Randle. It looks like the game may be starting to slow down for him a bit. He's doing a better job finishing at the rim. I read where he's the first player to go for 22 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals since your boy Kevin Love did it last year.
