Heat play 12 of the next 14 on the road- teams that include Golden State, LA Clips, OKC, Toronto, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Washington- and then follow that up with 2 home games against the Clippers and Spurs. They are currently 22-15 and 5th in the East.

TURNUP- here ill make a small bet with you if you would like.

After that stretch of games which ends a month from now- the Heat WILL NOT BE IN PLAYOFF POSITION IN THE EASTERN CONFERENCE.

Winner gets to choose the others avatar for a week. IF the Heat are in 8th or better after those road games and that 2 game home stand- (which ends February 9th- a MONTH from now), you win.

If the Heat are in 9th or worse on February 9 after the days games- I win.

Deal?

You're not going to win this bet. Just thought I would tell you. Currently in 6th place 3.5 up on 9th. There is a better chance Miami is in 3rd and not 9th on February 9th.

dude HAS racked up some serious mileage. clearly past his "new car warranty"...
i dont think LeBron has ever had a serious injury or a a surgery - while at this point in their careers Wade and Kobe were already cut up like a slaughtered cows.

brings me back to one of the craziest things about LeBron- THE NORMAL FUCKING RULES JUST DO NOT APPLY TO THE GREATEST ATHLETE OF HIS GENERATION- Jim Brown, Wilt Chamberlain, Lawrence Taylor, Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds.....LeBron James....

You should add Father Time to that list, because unlike LeBron, he's undefeated.

Michael Beasley will beat Father Time. Not sure how he's doing over in China right now though.:noidea:

Google him
He put up like 60-20-20 in the all star game a couple weeks ago and I posted a video of him being the peacemaker in a near fight a few days ago.

Heat round 4 coming soon, fingers crossed.

It doesn't matter what kinda #'s he's putting up in China. It's China, not the NBA. I did see that clip of him being the peacemaker. Can't remember the name of the other former NBAer in that clip but had he gotten a hold of that opponent that elbowed him the paramedics would have been involved.

Obviously totally different competition, but I'll bet you can't name any NBA roster where he isn't better than soneone on it.

Well if he's so good why isn't he in the NBA right now? Not even the worst teams in the league have given him a call. Otherwise he'd actually be in the NBA & not hooping it up on the other side of the world.

I wish I knew the answer.

Regardless, we're talking talent though, and while he certainly isn't anything great he's better then at least 1, prob 2-3 players on any roster.

The most mystifying thing to me is that they brought him back while James was here, which would indicate he's not really a problem.

He's under contract there, so until the season ends, we won't know if he gets an NBA job

2-4 in the finals does not equal greatest athlete of his generation.

I'd argue that James durability and physical strength are probably tops in the league, but to take your point further, in the last 2 Finals, the opponent most matched up against James won series MVP.
