Adding talent is adding talent. You always have your needs, but sometimes you just have to settle for an upgrade at a lesser need position. Who wouldn't want Price as an upgrade over Elias or 5th spot?
Plus you can then turn Price into a package of other prospects or another impact bat for the 2015 season. While there are those who cite our inability to scout those kinds of kids, we also don't have a great track record of building our own, so using some of those for Price isn't just a simple swap.Adding talent is adding talent. Good idea...lol. I have been preaching that for like two months. Rent him for the playoff run and then flip him in the off season ala Cliff Lee trade....but with better return than Smoak I would hope.
I would take Stanton over Price and Zobrist.
