When Cowlishaw and Moseley were coming on for their shift today they asked Moseley if he noticed the guy in the bright orange Marlins shirt and hat because they knew he was watching the game. He said he did not notice that. LOL! How can you not see that.

It is a better game DT.

I want a ball to somehow get through the net and hit that guy.

NL baseball is so excruciatingly awful...you do not need 4 pitchers in one inning.

I wanted that guy ever since he left Houston. He doesn't make it look pretty, but he's one of the better right handed hitters in the game.

Looks like KC has this one. Did not want them to leave two down. Feeling much better now about their chances.

NL baseball is so excruciatingly awful...you do not need 4 pitchers in one inning.

You seem to be implying that the NL, with it's true ties to the rules of baseball - which were first published in 1845 - is somewhere between wrong and an abomination of the great game.

The NL is the older of the two, while being established in 1876. The AL didn't come along until 1901.

The DH was instituted in 1973 and this really separates the two leagues from one another in today's modern era of baseball more than anything else IMO.

Applying the phrase "excruciatingly awful" seems at the least inappropriate.

This isn't 1845. It is 2014, and NL baseball is boring to watch because of the bull pen "specialists" and multiple pen changes in an inning. Yes that's excruciatingly awful. The way Peavy approached hitting last night was also awful. It's one of the things the league would like to speed up going forward, because of how long games last because of it.

Good to see KC take Game 2. Unfortunately I think going to SF will be a rude awakening. Wouldn't surprise me to see KC really startled and get out of SF with the series already over without the trophy.
