Mangini needs to get tossed....

into the bay...

without pants...

and his balls stapled to his leg...

:suds:

The best part of this post isn't even the beautifully written explanation of what should happen to Mangini....the best part was the peaceful "Cheers!" emoji you decided to use post rant.

I mean...you wanted a man's balls stapled to his leg for crying out loud!

I love it! LOL!

At least getting Mangini away from the challenges can't help but be a positive for us. I'm not sure who was making the final calls on challenges last year, but I don't know that I've ever seen such incompetence. There were at least four or five challenges that were just unforgivably stupid last year.

Huh. A bit surprised, but Staley is the leader of our OL, and has been a good soldier all along. Hope this sends the right message to the other troops, so to speak.

That's through age 35. Staley certainly has some good years left, but not sure he's got five more. We'll see what the terms are.

Its probably just a big signing bonus and the years added help with that signing bonus. He might got a couple years guaranteed too.

Ahmad Brooks - LB - 49ers

49ers OLB Ahmad Brooks has restructured his contract.

The specifics are unknown, but Brooks reportedly shed over $2 million off his 2014 cap number. We'd imagine a good chunk of his $4.25 million salary has been converted into a bonus that can be prorated over the final four years of his deal. Brooks has started every game of the Jim Harbaugh era in San Francisco.

From ninercaphell.

The 49ers have restructured the contract of OLB Ahmad Brooks, according to Brian McIntyre.

Brooks lowered his $4.25 million base salary down to the league minimum of $855,000, creating $2,546,250 in salary cap room, putting the 49ers close to $7.9 million under the cap for 2014.

According to McIntyre’s twitter account, Brooks received a $3.395 million signing bonus as part of the restructure, along with a 2015 reporting bonus, worth $450,000.
