I looked up Michael Choice's numbers and he breezed right through the A's minor league system. Over the past 4 years he hit, .318-.285-.287-.302. Last year was the .302 season in AAA, where he also drove in 89. Appears he's ready for the next step.

I do understand some's concerns due to him being a rookie though.

Nice thing about bringing in Choo is that it doesn't force the issue with Choice, and next year when Rios is a free agent (1 million buyout actually) you can slide Choo or Choice over there in RF

Very good point. It would be nice to have Choice as a PT DH and 4th OF for this season.

It looks as if we're just gonna have to play along with choos game guys. In a conversation I had earlier today with my friend, he just said that he couldn't explain any specifics as to why he is waiting but his opinion hasn't changed about him signing with us. He reiterated that even boras said he wants to sign with us. But we have no plans to move on to other FA's. He just told me to be patient with him. Sorry about getting your hopes up about him, I honestly am just relaying information lol. But I think we're gonna get him I really do I just dont know when. Its worth the wait though.
