So you'd be against good guys like David Murphy and Craig Gentry ever having any success ever again, but you would want Ron Washington to do well?

Wow. Talk about absolutely backward thinking.

Craig is going to get on all of our nerves when he's tracking our doubles in the gap. I like the trade though

I don't want any former Rangers to have success when playing against our team. Nor do I want them to have success if it means it indirectly hurts the Rangers. But to say you hope they never have any success ever again is way over the top.

If the Indians were to meet the Cardinals in the World Series, it would be ridiculous not to root for David Murphy to get his first World Series ring. I see nothing wrong with cheering for former Rangers as long as they left here on good terms and their success doesn't hurt the Rangers now in any way.

Surprised nobody is blaming wash. <s>

Well ... since you bring it up ... why did YT get the start in Game 3 ... why was Pujols pitched to and thereby given the opportunity to hit 3 HRs in Game 3 after TEX took Game 2 in STL ... and most importantly why was Endy Chavez on the bench leaving Cruz in the OF in the bottom of the 9th in Game 6?

I never said I hope they don't have success. I hope they have success, and their team fails. If their new team is winning the WS that means we aren't. I won't cheer for another team. I'm not built that way. I don't think it's over the top. It's just different than you.

I don't blame anyone for losing that series, but I, for one, hope that all non-Rangers lose. Once they leave the temple I wish them nothing but failure in their baseball endeavors.

The one possible exception will be Ron Washington once he's ran out of town.

There are a handful of players that get a pass from that for me. I think most of all of the players form the 2010-2011 teams would get that pass from me. That is, I would still root for them as long as they were not playing the Rangers. I was like that with Pudge too, I just couldn't root against him ever.

There are also a hand full of players you just have to admire even though they aren't Rangers. Griffey is still my favorite player of all time and he really used to crush us. I am also a fan of Miggy and Trout (to a lesser degree) but I could care less about the Tigers and especially the Angels.

Absolutely. Especially since I wanted Napoli back.

I get get ya. I hate to see them do it with a different team too, I just still appreciate all the moments they gave us when they were here. It's been sort of sad seeing the 2010 and 2011 WS teams getting broken up.

Craig might just kill it in that ballpark too, it seems like it is made for extra base hits. I bet he get another inside the parker next season. I think at first its going to look like the A's won that trade but in the end I think Choice might end up being a more valuable asset. Gonna miss Craig a ton though.

My avatar is Larry Allen being inducted into the HOF at the stadium and you have the cheerleaders doing the splits. I'd say they're even.

Thanksgiving Day game 2011 vs Miami, cheerleaders were the best thing to watch that day. Dallas won the game on a field goal at the end of regulation but it was ugly, except this

I wasn't referring to you specifically. The "you" in my post was more of a generalized "you", meaning you as in "that's something you just don't see every day" or "that's something you just don't do". Sorry for the confusion.

That's right. But I think Wash is a good guy.

I'm more hoping for their teams failure.

It will get on my nerves more when he gets on base and steals bases at will

Is he projected to start for Oakland?

Don't think so, he will probably be a 4th outfielder much like as a Ranger at least next year. He will likely back up Coco Puff in CF and start in LF on days Cespool is the DH. Craig may see more time in LF if they DH Cespedes more than start him in left, but either way he should get a lot of PT.
