What the heck? Seems like some potential snipers in there.

And some decent goalies. A guy who posted a 2.73 and .909 in the Q over 58 games might be worth taking a shot at. Not sure what Ottawa's plan is after Anderson and Lehner.

Zaar had a good camp last year, but stands essentially no chance of making the team. 5'11" is being extremely generous.

Prototypical NHL goaltending prospect, because goalies always see to be just "prospects"; so unpredictable.

This guy also shows all the tools but is a project to be sure.

The Sens, for the the first time in a long time, aren't short of goalies/goalie prospects.

I'll just drop this here - A list of 2012 draft picks that have one week to sign with their respective teams or they go back into the draft:

/Dalton Thrower could be worth taking a flyer on...

Holy crap!! I would take a chance on Thrower for sure.

Jarrod Maidens from the Sens is a sure fire NHLer... if he ever gets over post-concussion symtoms. He can't seem to do that and his career is likely over. Sad.

Ebert is a crazy case. There was once talk of him going 1st overall in 2012. I think the Kings got a relatively talented player in Ebert with the very last player in the draft.

He's worth a min ELC for sure, IMO.

I knew he had talent when they drafted him, some people were talking about him but I'm surprised the Kings haven't signed him - curious what's up there

Kings have signed Ebert:

Defenseman Nick Ebert signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday. Financial terms were not released.

Ebert, 20, split this season with Guelph and Windsor of the Ontario Hockey League. With Guelph, he had nine goals and 33 points in 38 regular-season games, and in the playoffs he had five goals and 16 points in 20 postseason games for the OHL champions. With Windsor, he played in 27 regular-season games, scoring four goals and 20 points.

A 6-0, 203-pound native of Livingston, N.J., Ebert was selected by the Kings in the seventh round (No. 201) in 2012.

Never saw him play except at the cup. Seems solid. That whole Guelph team is pretty good.

Bue Jackets may be using Umberger as a way to get to Rychel's linemate Fabbri in this year's draft.

Actually they have Fabbri at 16 for the Jackets, so if it goes this way they won't need to move up

When was that ranking last updated? I don't think there's any way that Fabbri falls to #16. It only takes one team, and someone in the first 15 spots will have fallen in love with him after all he showed in the postseason. If Ehlers is gone at #8 I'd love for the Leafs to trade down a few spots and take Fabbri, he'd be a great fit and he's a hometown kid. Maybe Dallas wants to move up to get the Ritchie brothers together?

Wondering the same thing myself. Last ranking I saw had Fabbri at 8th. I don't think there's any way he falls to 16.

We'll see.

Well, about a month ago, they had Julius Honka(a defenseman) at 17 for the Flyers but now in the last update a few days ago he's not even in the first round
