last night, Lord Linden mentioned him by name* as someone the canucks were interested in

I think it could have some impact, but most of these guys are still two to three years away from making the NHL club that drafts them anyway.

He’s got that package of high-end skill that doesn’t come along too often; he’s like a Jarome Iginla type of player who can do everything.

I'll be happy with any of Dal Colle, Reinhart, Bennett, Draisaitl or Ekblad. I guess if I had to pick 1 guy it would be Dal Colle.

I'm glad the Isles are keeping their 1st this year. Garth must have been worried he would get fired if he gave it away this year?

The draft next year is going to be deeper than this year, and even the 15th pick would be like getting a top 5 pick this year. The Sabres will also have the chance to use that extra pick to perhaps make a deal with another team?

Just have to wait and see.

I think Dal Colle ends up at five, and I heard comparisons that he could be the Mike Bossy to John Tavares - high expectations but if he's anywhere close, that's a real nice pick

Agreed, the Isles need to start winning anyway because they're heading into Brooklyn - you don't want to start off on a bad note there by continuing to lose

Getting JT back and healthy, the younger players taking the next step and the defense improving along with Halak in net, they SHOULD be better - but a lot of things can happen between now and the beginning of next season

hope to see griffin reinhart play some part next season, though he has looked hit and miss in the memorial cup..easily the stand out of all of our D prospects.

relieved the halak deal is wrapped up, happy weve kept first rd pick this year too..wouldnt want to risk anything on mcdavid or eichel in 2015...dont want to see the isles anywhere near that cursed draft lottery..nor does trent klatt if his body language was anything to go by the night the draw was made!

sure I read somewhere that buffalo dont recieve our 2015 1st round pick if its outside of the top 10? all the more incentive to push on!
