This is a tough one - On one hand, the Flames will land a pretty good player in the 4 hole if they stand pat. On the other hand, Ekblad has the potential to be a No. 1 elite defenseman.

I would assume Tallon is actively shopping to see if the two teams behind him to see if someone is desperate for ekblad.
Between him and the two Sams, there's not a very wrong answer

I think it would be too hard for him to go to Russia, at a young age, having to learn all kinds of different things - only two reasons I could see it is the competition is higher in the KHL and he can make a lot of money right now - but it wouldn't be the right move to go there, imo
