I'm confident the Mavs will play in the NBA West finals. People have underrated this team but they will show the doubters they are for real.

Boozer had a decent game one, 17 and 7 in just 28 minutes. His turnovers in game 3 were awful though.

Hill had 2 awful games and a very good 3rd game, but he doesn't get a lot of hate but Boozer does? Interesting.

Young comes back and starts at SF giving the Lakers 2 good scorers in him and Kobe. Johnson sucks on offense, all he can do is provide some defense.

But as kyrie continues to get better and rose continues to sit on the bench who knows?

Rose is def a better defender (if his chronically damaged knees hold up) but there is no doubt you can't play kyrie only to go to the hoop like rose

Kyrie can rain from 3 and get to the rim. Rose can't.

If my team was down 1 with 10 seconds left if much rather have the ball in the hands of kyrie since you have to respect his shot and can't just play 3-5 feet off him It's why kyrie had the amount of game winners he has at his early age. Play him to drive he will hit a jumper in your face. Play up on him and make him drive and he will go right around you

Rose does not have the same offensively versatility as kyrie. And it's questionable how much explosion toes can muster over 6 months after 2 major knee surgeries

But you are right. Overall with roses defensive ability. As long as he's healthy I'd give rose the edge overall. Just not scoring wise

I'm just saying rose is not good enough offensively to be the best player on a team that makes the finals. Especially when who is the next best go to scorer if you need a bucket on that team? A well past his prime gasol? Noah?

If rose is your only elite offensive player (and he has his limitations) you aren't going to the finals that's for sure
