"2014 Mock Draft - Steelers War Room"

From what I can tell, there are still quite a few CB's on the board. Not sure how many are going to start flying off the board once the 2nd round starts.

These guys are all still available unless I missed a pick on the board

You might have just made the best value pick of the draft up to this point. My guess is whoever draft Timmy Jernigan or whatever his name is will take over as he is expected to be a top 15 prospect but Fuller is a guy that whatever team gets him will be very happy.

Thanks...we liked several guys...Fuller played the #1 WR every week...Purifoy whom we liked also did not, and that tipped the scales.

Jernigan...we threw his name around early, but it didn't stick. I want to say he's had 2 knee injuries but it may only be one. If he has a clean bill of health, he will be a steal for NE.

Well, we've cured two needs...I guess we sit and watch for a bit now...see what CLE does with our pick...lol...I'll be watching the board, and working on the 4th round.

We established our biggest needs as TE/big WR, CB, S, NT

I guess you've seen our 1st two picks...we like the versatility of Ebron over the WRs at the top...we landed our
2nd choice for CB in Fuller.

For the 4th pick we had targeted a S, and have a couple of options we liked, but if you have WR that you think we need to look at...please present him.

We've got 4 more picks remaining (comp picks didn't factor in this draft as they were not established yet I was told)...I like both of your S options, adding them to our pool for the 4th rd pick.

Need is NT, but we could a have a BPA guy blow us away, such as a WR (maybe the Rutgers kid you mentioned) in the 5th, I'm not locked on position here, but NT is a target pool we want to build...not sure if we have mentioned anybody...I like Ray Carruethers from Ark St. but I think he's more 6th or 7th round.

Also...I wouldn't mind taking another OT late (6th or 7th)...Seantrel Henderson, MIA...he's one name I like

S is deeper.

Cooks...never have seen him play...on paper he's a BPA for certain...my question, is he Wheaton 2.0? He can go into the pool for the 4th (agree about being a steal) and we'll see how the group likes him vs the S we're looking at.

Kind of expected I guess, but we lost Ed Reynolds to DET. We're still have 2 or 3 S in the pool thanks to Steeler Pride adding a couple of good options...also brought up a good BPA option.

Hey hobo...Shazier was taken by HOU top of the 2nd round.

Overall update...we lost a few prospects to this point in the 3rd round (85 picks, our next pick is 114)

Reynolds (DET), Loston (AZ)...S, are gone.
Cooks (GB) WR is gone.

I think Face is back today maybe...if so he'll take over the reins of submitting the next pick. Else, we still have some names available in the pool for the 4th round.

I'm open to BPA at any need position, but we do need to come away with a S before it's all said and done. Right now I think we have 2 Safetys still in the pool...I will have some time this afternoon to research a bit more.

I assume the 4th round will get started today.
