Unless of course, the Lakers ping pong ball happens to come out in the 10-14 range, and then they are screwed.

The Lakers organisation, even with Jim at the helm, know how to draft well. No doubt in my mind they're planning and preparing for it now. I see the guy we get this year being a star - someone we can enjoy for years to come!

Let's hope you are right. I'd like to see the Lakers go big in the Draft.

A lot of tough opponents still to come. The key is how they perform against the Sacramento's and Milwaukee's left on the schedule. I think Orlando is catchable. I think 3rd place is still the ceiling though.

Lakers need to get on some new blood in the system. Kobe has done his thing lets get somebody else to carry the load.

1. Parker
2. Embid
3. Exum

That's how I see right now. The Lakers will get one of those 3 and I'd be stoked with any of them.

Exum would be an intriguing prospect. He loves the Lakers and Kobe. He most certainly would work with Kobe on improving his game.

Gotta love a young guy like that saying he's hoping to be mentored. A lot of these kids come in thinking they already have it all figured out.

I'm afraid of Exum going #1. I would take him #1 overall and never look back - I think he is that good. Plus, he's played overseas; He's played in summer league; He's played in International events where he outplayed most every all american; and he WANTS to be mentored and improve.

And he has a 6'9 wingspan who plays the PG, and scouting reports say even at that size is quicker than everyone else. When you have scouting reports calling him a 6'9 Russell Westbrook - I look no further.

We gotta get this kid at all coast & it seem's to me that he is the type that would love to dominate the game & get the Hollywood attention & not shy away from it. This kid is going to be a stud big time.

He would be a number one pick if he had played college ball.

From what I gather, Milwaukee wants a big in either Embiid or Randle and both Orlando and Philly want Wiggins and/or Parker.

The Lakers could very well end up with Exum if they get a top 5 pick.
